The Trump Justice Department has filed a lawsuit against Fulton County, Georgia, seeking access to 2020 election records, a move that conservative commentators say could open the door to broader legal action tied to how votes were handled in the county.
During a recent episode of The Absolute Truth, Emerald Robinson said the lawsuit follows years of resistance by Fulton County officials to turn over election data and comes after what she described as a significant admission by local election authorities.
“I’d say there’s a lot of smoke and probably a huge election rigging fire at the heart of Fulton County,” Robinson said.
“The Trump Justice Department is finally suing corrupt Fulton County, Georgia for access. It for access. Excuse me, to their 2020 election year records.”
Robinson said Fulton County officials have repeatedly refused to cooperate with investigators since the 2020 election.
“Ever since 2020 Fulton County has, as you know, because we talked about it over and over, they resisted calls to hand over the data to investigators, threatening anyone who asked about what was going on or why it’s being covered up,” Robinson said.
She said the lawsuit follows what she described as a “stunning admission” by county election officials.

“Now this, of course, comes on the heels of a stunning admission by Fulton County election officials that a whopping 315,000 votes were improperly, improperly they’ve admitted it improperly counted in the 2020, election,” Robinson said.
“Yeah, I’d say there’s a lot of smoke and probably a huge election rigging fire at the heart of Fulton County.”
Liz Harrington said the lawsuit should be viewed as an initial step rather than the end of the matter.
“It’s great news that they’re actually not letting it go, and they filed a lawsuit,” Harrington said.
“I mean, this should be the first of many. This should actually be the first of indictments, and RICO charges for the actual people who should have faced them for 2020 in Fulton County, which is Fulton County officials themselves.”
Harrington pointed to admissions related to early voting ballots and required documentation.
“This is amazing, the admission that the Fulton Fulton County finally admitted, oh yeah, we don’t dispute that none of these votes, all the early voting votes in Fulton County were not signed to and witnessed to and sworn to, which they are required by law,” Harrington said.
She alleged that officials went to extreme lengths to avoid releasing records, including creating documents after the fact.
“They literally invented and what appears to me forged open and closing tapes for tabulators that did not exist during the election,” Harrington said, adding that officials “literally invented 10 tabulators and documents for them and claimed that these votes were legitimate.”
Harrington said she believes those actions were taken because officials could not account for the vote totals.
“They literally had to throw it all out and invent new ones because they didn’t have enough votes to overcome President Trump’s lead,” she said.
She said the Justice Department lawsuit is critical to determining whether key records still exist.
“I’m really pleased to see the DOJ filing a lawsuit to see if they haven’t destroyed these records already that are supposed to be sitting in a warehouse in Fulton County,” Harrington said.
“Ed Martin already thinks his ballots are destroyed, but we need to get to the bottom of it, and charges need to be filed if they were destroyed.”
Robinson said she shares concerns about whether the ballots are still intact and questioned whether the current Justice Department will pursue criminal charges if wrongdoing is confirmed.
“I agree. I really question if they’re still there,” Robinson said.
“But if that is the case, and there needs to be criminal charges, do you think that this current DOJ, hermit Dylan, do they have the cojones to actually file indictments?”
