President-elect Donald Trump has announced a detailed plan to dismantle what he calls the “Deep State” and target entrenched corruption within Washington, D.C.
Outlining his vision, Trump promised to address bureaucratic overreach and implement sweeping changes across national security and intelligence agencies, along with reforms aimed at increasing government transparency and accountability.
“Here’s my plan to dismantle the deep state and reclaim our democracy from Washington corruption, once and for all, and corruption it is”

A central piece of Trump’s strategy includes reissuing his 2020 Executive Order, which would give him the authority to remove federal employees he deems to be rogue bureaucrats. “I will immediately reissue my 2020 Executive Order, restoring the President’s authority to remove rogue bureaucrats, and I will wield that power very aggressively,” he stated.
Trump also highlighted plans to overhaul national security and intelligence agencies, which he claims have been “weaponized” to target conservatives and Christians.
“The departments and agencies that have been weaponized will be completely overhauled so that faceless bureaucrats will never again be able to target and persecute conservatives, Christians, or the left’s political enemies.”
In addressing what he described as “corruption” in FISA courts, Trump promised extensive reforms to prevent abuse. “We will totally reform FISA courts, which are so corrupt that the judges seemingly do not care when they are lied to in warrant applications,” he noted, adding that judges had overlooked inaccuracies in many cases.
To increase transparency, Trump proposed establishing a Truth and Reconciliation Commission, which would declassify documents on alleged Deep State activities. “We will establish a Truth and Reconciliation Commission to declassify and publish all documents on Deep State spying, censorship, and corruption,” Trump explained.
Another aspect of Trump’s plan focuses on cracking down on government leaks. He stated his intent to pursue criminal charges against individuals who collude with media outlets to promote “false narratives” and undermine the government. “We will launch a major crackdown on government leakers who collude with the fake news to deliberately weave false narratives and to subvert our government and our democracy,” he said.
In a bid to enhance oversight, Trump also promised to make Inspector Generals’ offices independent from the departments they investigate, ensuring they are not compromised. “We will make every Inspector General’s Office independent and physically separated from the departments they oversee so they do not become the protectors of the deep state,” Trump emphasized.
Further, Trump will ask Congress to establish an independent auditing system for intelligence agencies.
This move, he explained, is intended to prevent agencies from conducting surveillance on American citizens or interfering in elections. “I will ask Congress to establish an independent auditing system to continually monitor our intelligence agencies to ensure they are not spying on our citizens or running disinformation campaigns against the American people,” Trump stated, referencing allegations that his own campaign was targeted.
Trump also aims to relocate parts of the federal workforce outside of Washington, an effort he began in his first term. “Just as I moved the Bureau of Land Management to Colorado, as many as 100,000 government positions could be moved out, and I mean immediately, of Washington to places filled with patriots who love America,” he explained.
In addition to these changes, Trump proposed a ban on federal bureaucrats taking jobs with companies they regulate. “They deal with these companies, and they regulate these companies, and then they want to take jobs from these companies. Does it work that way?” he questioned, using Big Pharma as an example.
Lastly, Trump pledged to push for a constitutional amendment to impose term limits on members of Congress, a measure he believes is critical to preventing deep-seated influence. “This is how I will shatter the deep state and restore government that is controlled by the people and for the people,” Trump concluded.

Through these measures, Trump aims to reshape federal institutions and bring what he calls greater accountability and patriotism to government operations.
His proposals reflect a commitment to reducing what he sees as bureaucratic control over American democracy.
