President Donald Trump attended UFC 314 at the Kaseya Center in Miami on Saturday night, appearing alongside multiple members of his administration, prominent public figures, and family members.

The event drew widespread attention not only for the fights in the octagon but for the enthusiastic reception Trump received from the crowd.

The President entered the arena accompanied by UFC President Dana White and several of his grandchildren, including his granddaughter Kai.

The entrance music, “Taking Care of Business,” played over the speakers as the crowd erupted in cheers.

Chants of “U.S.A.!” echoed through the venue, which some outlets described as a “hero’s welcome.”

Among those in attendance with President Trump were Tesla CEO Elon Musk and his son, Lil X; Secretary of State Marco Rubio; Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard; FBI Director Kash Patel; and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who was joined by his wife, Cheryl Hines.

A brief moment during the event drew attention when Trump appeared to walk past Hines without immediately shaking her hand.

Some speculated the moment was a snub, prompting media commentary.

However, Trump returned to greet her shortly afterward, appearing to clear up any misunderstanding.

Observers noted that during Kennedy’s swearing-in ceremony earlier this year, Trump greeted Hines warmly with a hug and kiss, suggesting the incident at UFC 314 was not intentional.

The President also received greetings from several high-profile figures during the event.

Former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal approached Trump for a handshake and an exchange of pleasantries.

Podcaster Joe Rogan and Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy were also seen interacting with him during the evening.

At one point, Trump briefly did his signature dance move, drawing cheers from the crowd and a laugh from Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), who was also in attendance.

After securing a knockout victory over Nikita Krylov, UFC fighter Dominick Reyes gave Trump a nod by performing the President’s signature “golf swing” gesture.

Elon Musk’s young son, known as Lil X, appeared to be enjoying himself throughout the evening, waving his arms and cheering during the fights.

His excitement was notable, and the young boy’s interactions suggested a positive rapport with President Trump.

The two were previously seen together in a widely shared moment on the White House lawn.

Saturday’s appearance marked another instance of Trump being embraced at UFC events.

In November, shortly after securing re-election, he was also met with enthusiastic cheers at a UFC event held at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Trump’s appearances at UFC events have become a recurring show of support from a demographic that includes working-class Americans, veterans, and athletes—many of whom have expressed appreciation for his leadership and policies.

As the 2024 campaign cycle closed and his presidency resumed, Trump’s presence at major cultural and sporting events continues to generate public interest and showcase continued grassroots enthusiasm.
