Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman is expressing serious concerns about the potential impact of Elon Musk on the upcoming elections, particularly regarding the Democratic Party’s chances both in Pennsylvania and nationally.
In an interview with The Post, Fetterman highlighted Musk’s endorsement of former President Donald Trump and his active participation in Trump’s rallies as significant factors that could sway public opinion.
“Musk is a concern,” Fetterman stated. “Not even just that he has endorsed [Trump], but the fact that now he’s becoming an active participant and showing up and doing rallies and things like that.”

Fetterman elaborated on Musk’s influence, drawing a comparison to the fictional character Tony Stark, known for his wealth and technological prowess. “I mean, [Musk] is incredibly successful, and, you know, I think some people would see him as, like, a Tony Stark,” Fetterman said.

He cautioned that Democrats should take Musk’s actions seriously rather than dismiss them. “Democrats, you know, kind of make light of it, or they make fun of him jumping up and down and things like that. And I would just say that they are doing that at our peril.”

Elon Musk is a winner.
He’s snatched rockets out of the sky.
Given new life back to paralyzed people.
Saved free speech.
Built an electric car empire and a fleet of robots. He’s accomplished everything he’s set his mind to…

Musk, who was once skeptical of Trump, has shifted his support significantly since the former president’s near-assassination during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July.
This month, Musk campaigned alongside Trump in Butler and participated in a lengthy phone call with him in August.

Financially, Musk has made a substantial commitment to Trump’s campaign, donating at least $75 million to a pro-Trump super PAC, as revealed by Federal Election Commission records.
This contribution positions him as one of the largest individual donors in the 2024 presidential race, with a reported net worth of $247 billion.
Fetterman, known for his straightforward approach and candid remarks, emphasized the stakes of the upcoming election. He asserted that the race in Pennsylvania is expected to be closely contested, stating, “Pennsylvania is going to be ridiculously close.”
He acknowledged Trump’s strong connection with the voters, noting, “Trump has a connection that’s undeniable. And anyone that spends any time across Pennsylvania can see that kind of devotion and that’s why it’s going to be very close. Pennsylvania picks the president.”
Despite the challenges, Fetterman has remained a vocal supporter of Joe Biden, even as other Democrats called for the president to step aside.
He asserted, “I’d like to remind everybody that Biden is the only person that’s ever beaten Trump.” Fetterman recalled the tumultuous period leading up to Biden’s decision to remain in the race, describing it as “a total blowtorch.”
He noted the pressures from various factions, including the media and celebrities, to remove Biden from the race.
Now, Fetterman is fully backing Kamala Harris, stating that he has been actively campaigning for her in more conservative areas of Pennsylvania.
He expressed confidence in her campaign, saying, “Harris could not have run a better campaign than she has so far right now.”
As the election approaches, Fetterman’s warnings about Musk’s influence and the dynamics in Pennsylvania reflect the intense political landscape both parties are navigating.
With the potential for a fiercely contested race, every voter and donor’s impact will be closely scrutinized as both parties work to secure their positions in the critical battleground state.
