A viral video from TikTok creator Elly May has ignited a firestorm on X after Elon Musk reposted it, highlighting her blunt criticism of Democrats and their handling of government spending.
The video, which has racked up millions of views, calls out what Elly May sees as irresponsible financial decisions and misplaced outrage over Musk’s revelations regarding wasteful spending.
“I keep waiting and waiting and waiting for Democrats to start f**king redeeming themselves, and every single time I turn around, they make it f**king worse,” Elly May said in the video.
“Just 100% no turnabout rate, nothing. It is just going downhill for the Democrats.”

Elly May compared Musk’s exposure of government inefficiencies to a hypothetical bank robbery, criticizing those who are attacking him rather than addressing the actual problem.
“Dude, can you please tell me if someone right, robbed a f**king bank. Okay, let’s just, let’s talk about a hypothetical before we get into the real shit. Real quick. If someone robbed a bank, someone watched the security footage, saw who robbed the bank, told you who robbed the bank. You caught who robbed the bank. Are you gonna be mad at the person that robbed the f**king bank, or the person that told you you were being robbed?”
She linked the analogy directly to Musk’s recent role in exposing government waste through the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which has come under heavy fire from Democrats.
“That’s what’s going on with Elon Musk right now, for those of you that don’t understand, okay. Elon Musk was hired for the Department of government efficiency. What does the Department of government efficiency do? What is its main number one goal? To make sure that our government is running efficiently, dumb a**es, and here you are literally trying to shoot the f**king messenger, because he is showing you that a lot of our money is being wasted on shit that is not needed.”
Among the spending items that Elly May targeted were taxpayer-funded projects on social initiatives overseas.
“What type of f**king transgender opera do you need overseas? What type of all of these DEI inclusivity programs do you f**king need to be spending our money on overseas? And instead of being mad at the people that are stealing our f**king money and spending it 100% irresponsibly, you are mad at the man who told you you were being ripped the f**k off.”
She accused Democrats of fostering a cult-like mentality by refusing to hold their own leadership accountable for government mismanagement.
“You are a f**king cult member, plain and simple. There is no saving for you. Okay, every single time you guys continue to pedal these lies, you are screaming more and more that you are a cult member, and the more and more you do it, the more and more the moderate Democrats are going to f**king leave you. Keep going. Keep f**king going. Show your utter stupidity. It’s what you’ve been doing for four years. Keep it up.”
Elly May concluded by saying that Musk’s revelations about government spending have only confirmed what many conservatives already suspected.
“The rest of us are happy that we found out what we already knew, that we were being robbed. It must be shocking for you to deal with facts, but they’re gonna keep coming out. Our government has wasted billions upon billions upon billions of f**king dollars for shit that is not important to American citizens, and you’re mad at Elon Musk and not at your f**king representatives. What are you f**king retarded? You have to be.”

Elon Musk’s reposting of the video added even more attention to the issue, reinforcing the growing scrutiny over wasteful federal spending.
While Democrats continue to push back against Musk’s role in DOGE, viral moments like this indicate that frustration over government inefficiency is only increasing.
