EPA Clawing Back $20 Billion in ‘Gold Bars’

Project Veritas dropped a shocker of a video back in December, in which an EPA manager was bragging that the Biden administration was metaphorically ‘dropping gold bars off the Titanic.’ They were shoving every dime they could out to their NGO buddies so they could harass the Trump administration and continue to suck off the taxpayers’ teat for years to come. 

We all know such things happen, but to have it so vividly described was revealing.

Well, Lee Zeldin is retrieving those gold bars, and it turns out to be a lot of them. $20 billion, all sitting in the equivalent of a bank vault. 

The massive scale of this scam–which as with so many things is SOP at government agencies–blows your mind. Pushing $20 billion out the door to friends of the administration with little to no financial controls, zero accountability, and lots of malice aforethought is only different in scale and not in kind. 

What IS different is that somebody is doing something about it. $20 billion is such a large amount of money that it was traceable, and Zeldin actually bothered to trace it and claw it back. 

No doubt there will be lawsuits and a tug of war between the feds and the NGOs, but those lawsuits will be quite instructive. There will be discovery that will open up the books of the NGOs, showing the American people how the sausage is made and that the meat inside is rotten. 

The scams, the revolving door, the massive skimming. The “green banks” funding projects that never get off the ground cost enormous amounts of money without achieving any discernible goal, and the massive salaries for managers of these projects. You will find out that politically connected people all have ties in some form or fashion to the dollars going out the door. 

We’ve already seen the tip of the iceberg in other places. Judges that put restraining orders on spending freezes have family members who are effected by the freeze. One has a daughter who works at the Department of Education; another works with an NGO that gets money from USAID. 

We will see this pattern recur again and again. 

This is why Trump has been the object of so much slander and hate. He is defunding the ruling class, cutting the transnational elite off of its funding stream, and set to cripple a class of people who have assumed they have the right to rule and get rich off of us. 

$20 billion. At one agency. Spent in weeks. With no accountability and no stated goals beyond vague promises of doing good. 

This pattern will be duplicated. It is how you spend $8 billion for eight charging stations. It is how you get Soros prosecutors. It is how USAID funds BLM. Money sent out the door to opaque NGOs. 

The only reason we see it is because Project Veritas caught an arrogant EPA employee bragging about it and we now have somebody from outside the Swamp determined enough to claw the money back. 

Liberals are howling, and now you know why. There is probably a trillion dollars a year going out the door in such schemes. 150-year-old Social Security recipients. USAID funding going to terrorists. The Bar Association, World Economic Forum, The Aspen Institute, Atlantic Council, Brookings, and thousands of others receiving money that the American people were told went to food aid. 

Is it any wonder the Democrats and their allies are talking about “fighting in the streets?”
