Epstein Called Himself ‘Tier One’ Sex Predator in Newly Released DOJ Interview [WATCH]

Convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein referred to himself as a “Tier One” sexual predator during a videotaped interview that was released Friday by the U.S. Department of Justice as part of a large document disclosure ordered under federal law, as reported by The New York Post.

Epstein, a wealthy financier who was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell on Aug. 10, 2019, made the remarks while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.

The interview features Epstein speaking to an unseen and unidentified interviewer during a wide-ranging and at times rambling conversation that lasted several hours.

During the interview, Epstein attempted to clarify what he meant by labeling himself a “Tier One” predator, stating that he believed himself to be at “the lowest” level of sexual perversion.

The interviewer pressed Epstein on multiple topics, including the source of his wealth and whether it was derived from illicit or unethical activity.

When asked whether any of his fortune came from handling “dirty money,” Epstein denied it outright. “No, it’s not,” he said, later adding that this was the case “because I earned it.”

The interviewer pushed back on that claim, responding, “You earned it by advising the worst people in the world, that do enormous, bad things, and just to make more money.”

“Ethics is always a complicated subject,” Epstein replied, before shifting the conversation to his charitable contributions, including donations to polio vaccination efforts in developing countries.

“Instead of asking me whether that money should be given to these children for vaccines, I think you might want to ask their mothers — who receive the vaccine, who know their child now won’t get polio — and ask them if Epstein should have helped these people with their money,” Epstein said.

The interviewer followed up by asking, “What percentage of people do you estimate would say, ‘I don’t care; I want the money for my children?’”

Epstein responded, “I would say everyone says, ‘I want the money for my children.’ I think if you told them the devil himself said, ‘I’m going to exchange some dollars for your child’s life — ‘”

The interviewer then asked Epstein directly, “Do you think you are the devil himself?”

“No, but I have a good mirror,” Epstein replied.

The exact date of the interview has not been confirmed. However, based on Epstein’s appearance in the footage, the interview is believed to have been recorded shortly before his July 2019 arrest.

The video was released as part of a broader disclosure ordered under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which was signed into law by President Donald Trump in November.

Under the law, the Trump administration released approximately 2,000 videos, as well as up to 3.5 million pages of documents and roughly 180,000 images related to the Epstein investigation.

The document release marks one of the most extensive public disclosures connected to the Epstein case since his death and continues to draw scrutiny over the scope of his crimes, his financial dealings, and his connections to powerful figures.
