Officers with the North Charleston Police Department responded to a crash site after firefighters reported that a suspect was attempting to leave the area in a different vehicle.
The individual was later identified as Quinn.
Upon arrival, officers observed a white Dodge Challenger in reverse near the scene of the crash.
The driver of the car told police that Quinn, a passenger in the vehicle, had contacted her to pick him up.
City camera footage reviewed by authorities reportedly showed Quinn driving along the road before crossing an intersection and median, ultimately entering private property where the crash took place.
The collision involved multiple vehicles. Police reported that Quinn allegedly struck the side of another car, causing it to be pushed into a Ford truck before hitting an additional vehicle.
According to the police report cited by CountOn2 News, Quinn had been at a nightclub prior to the incident.
Following his arrest, Quinn was booked into custody but has since been released.
This is not the first time Quinn has faced similar allegations. In August 2023, he was charged in connection to a separate hit-and-run incident in Summerville, South Carolina.
During that incident, authorities reportedly discovered a partially empty bottle of Crown Royal Apple whiskey in Quinn’s vehicle.
Reports from CountOn2 News state that during the Summerville incident, Quinn’s truck struck two vehicles parked in a driveway.
The homeowner told police that after the crash, Quinn exited his vehicle, offered to buy her a beer, and then allegedly assaulted her.
She claimed that Quinn grabbed her by the shoulders, saying “listen to me,” and later slapped her across the face.
The former NFL player subsequently turned himself in to authorities in that case.

Quinn, who was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in 2011, played in the NFL for over a decade.
Following his time with the Rams, he was traded to the Miami Dolphins in 2018, spent one season with the Dallas Cowboys, and played three seasons with the Chicago Bears before joining the Eagles.
The investigation into the most recent incident is ongoing, and Quinn’s legal challenges continue to mount. North Charleston authorities have yet to release further details regarding the crash.
