Social media users are claiming to show an artificial waterfall in China. One user wrote, “Step into the breathtaking world of China’s artificial waterfall experience—a marvel of engineering and creativity. This stunning attraction combines nature’s beauty with human ingenuity, creating a mesmerizing cascade that captivates visitors. It’s a perfect blend of art, technology, and the environment.”

This claim is misleading. The waterfall is real, but the video is not from China. Through a reverse image search, Check Your Fact found a video showing an artificial waterfall from Dubai. The Dubai Expo in 2020 had an artificial waterfall, according to a YouTube video found by Check Your Fact.
