The claim originated as satire. The Hall of President at Disney World is still open.

A post made on X claims that The Hall Of Presidents attraction at Disney World closed because of Trump’s alleged divisiveness. The caption reads, “CLOSED: Disney created a Hillary animatronic robot for her 2016 win for the The Hall of Presidents, but Trump won and they retrofitted it for him. In 2024 they made a Kamala robot, but when Trump won they decided having a Hall of presidents with Trump is too divisive.”

The claim is false. The Disney World website lists The Hall of Presidents as an attraction located in its Magic Kingdom Park that is currently open from 08:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The claim appears to have originated as satire. Satirical website Mouse Trap News published a story titled “Disney Permanently Closing The Hall of Presidents.” Text from the about section of Mouse Trap News’ website reads, “Mouse Trap News is the world’s best satire and parody site. We write fake stories about Disney Parks stuff.”

The post also claims that Disney World repurposed an already created Hillary Clinton animatronic following Trump’s 2016 presidential election victory. This claim continues to remain a conspiracy theory, according to Business Insider. There is no evidence to show Disney World repurposed a Clinton animatronic.
