FACT CHECK: Did Trump Post An Image Of A ‘United DPRK’ On Truth Social?

An image shared on Instagram purports to show a TRUTH Social post from President Donald Trump depicting a united Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).

The purported image does not appear on Trump’s TRUTH Social account, his official website, or his verified social media accounts, and there is no other evidence suggesting he made the post.

TikTok CEO Show Chew is reportedly expected to attend Trump’s inauguration, according to Fox News. Trump’s inauguration is just one day after the popular social media app will shut down in the U.S., the outlet reported.

The Instagram image purports to show a TRUTH Social post from Trump depicting a united DPRK. “Make Korea Great Again, #MAKA 2025,” the image’s caption reads. Besides Instagram, the image circulated on X, where it has amassed over 20,000 views as of writing.

The claim is false. Check Your Fact reviewed Trump’s TRUTH Social account and did not find the purported image referenced there. Likewise, the image does not appear on Trump’s official website or his verified social media accounts.

In addition, Check Your Fact did not find any credible news reports to support the claim. Actually, the opposite is true. On Jan. 15, Logically Facts debunked the claim. According to the outlet, the claim originated via a satirical account on X.
