A post shared on social media purportedly shows a video of people in line to vote early in Michigan.

Verdict: False

The line is for a Harris rally.

A post shared on Instagram allegedly shows a long line to vote early in Michigan. The video shows a long line of people on a sidewalk as the person holding the camera walks down the street.

The caption reads, “Early voting in Grand Rapids, Michigan.”

The claim is inaccurate. The video was posted to TikTok on Oct. 18. The video is currently unavailable, but the same scene was uploaded by USA Today. The caption indicates that the line is for a Harris rally. The rally took place in Riverside Park. Michigan. The state went to Trump in 2016 and Biden in 2020, according to CNN.
