Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is facing pressure from members of his own party to resign after nearly a decade of leadership, The Associated Press reported. This pressure follows the resignation of Trudeau’s top minister who criticized Trudeau’s use of the budget.

A post shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, allegedly shows a Canadian city that held a massive Indian cultural event. The video shows a large crowd dancing down the street.

The caption reads, “Canada looks like India now. We need mass deportations to survive. I’d rather be the 51st state than New India. Deport Deport Deport!”

The claim is inaccurate. The event dates back to Oct. 2022 in New Jersey. According to Statistics Canada, there are approximately 1.3 million Indians living in Canada. Canada has planned an “immigration reset” that will result in 2 million people leaving the country, Financial Post reported. Canada has pledged 909 mln for border security after Trump threatened tariffs if drugs and migrants continue to cross into United States, according to Reuters.
