Sen. Bernie Sanders has stated that Harris ran a strong campaign, but failed to reach “ordinary people,” according to USA Today. Sanders said that the working class is “angry” and Trump was able to reach them with his tactics, the outlet reported.

An X post claims the Harris campaign believes it can still win the election via a recount. The post shows an image of Harris behind a podium and a close-up of Trump in a suit.

The caption reads, “BREAKING: Kamala’s campaign says They can Overturn Trump’s Election Victory with a Recount.”

Harris conceded to Trump last week and is accepting donations for a “recount account,” according to the New York Post. These funds are meant to be given to down-ballot Democrats and to pay election-related expenses, but Harris has not announced an intention to request a recount for herself, the outlet reported.

The Harris campaign’s website shows no indication that she believes victory is possible via recount. Instead, there is a message confirming that she has conceded the election.
