An image shared on Threads purports to show an X post from President Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron Trump.

The X post was originally shared on Feb. 13 by @news_barron, an account that posts breaking news content daily and bears a “media and news company” label. The account does not appear to bear any ties to Barron Trump.

Fact Check:

Kaya Walker, president of New York University’s Young Republicans chapter, recently resigned after calling Barron Trump “sort of an oddity on campus,” according to The Hill. Walker’s remark was published in an interview with Vanity Fair, the outlet reported.

The Threads image, which has received over 100 likes as of writing, purports to show a tweet from Trump’s youngest son, Barron Trump.

“Everyone who knows me sees me as a realist, some even a pessimist. With that in mind, you’ll understand the weight of what I’m about to say: I believe we’re on the brink of uncovering a dark legacy in this country that’s been hidden for far too long,” the text of the purported X post begins.

“If you’re struggling to grasp how your ex-government could do such things, my advice is to either brace yourself or go hide until someone saves you. I truly think the dam is breaking, and regardless of how it unfolds, real change is coming. Those at the federal and state levels should be preparing to lose sleep — it’s about to go mainstream,” it continues.

The claim is false. The X post was originally shared on Feb. 13 by @news_barron, an account that posts breaking news content daily. Likewise, the verified account bears a “media and news company” label, meaning it is not Barron Trump’s official account. In fact, the account does not appear to bear any ties to Barron Trump.

In addition, the Republican President has not repeated the claim about his son’s purported X post via his personal or government accounts or his TRUTH Social account.
