The shooting occurred around 3:32 p.m. near Third Street and Pine Avenue as crowds gathered for the launch of a new Marathon Burger location, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

The restaurant is part of the fast-food chain founded by Hussle’s estate.

The Long Beach location was opened in partnership with the Broadus family, including rapper Snoop Dogg, who attended the event.

Snoop was greeted by a large crowd of fans as he cut the ribbon at the ceremony. He was also seen flipping burgers inside the restaurant during the celebration.
