FBI at Ben Affleck’s Door While Wildfires Rage Close to Home [WATCH]

On Sunday, law enforcement officers, including individuals identified as FBI agents and deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, visited the Brentwood home of actor and filmmaker Ben Affleck.

The visit occurred as nearby Pacific Palisades continued to battle devastating wildfires.

Witnesses reported seeing FBI agents and deputies outside Affleck’s $20.5 million estate in Brentwood.

The officers appeared to use the call box at the gate to his property, but the gate was not opened.

The purpose of their visit remains unclear, and it is unknown whether Affleck was home at the time.

One agent was seen wearing a short-sleeve shirt with the FBI logo on the back, while another wore body armor with similar branding.

Two additional law enforcement officers, one in a Sheriff’s Department-branded windbreaker and the other in a utility vest, were also seen leaving the property.

Affleck’s Brentwood home is located near the Pacific Palisades, where a massive wildfire has wreaked havoc.

As of Sunday evening, the Palisades fire was only 13 percent contained, with 24 confirmed fatalities reported between this fire and the Eaton fire, which originated in Altadena near Pasadena, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.

Last week, Affleck was seen returning to his home as flames approached nearby areas.

The actor quickly evacuated and rushed to the home of his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, in Brentwood, to assist her and their children—Violet, 19; Fin, 16; and Sam, 12—in evacuating to safety.

Garner later revealed that the fire had a personal toll, sharing during an interview with MSNBC that a friend of hers had tragically lost their life in the blaze.

“I did lose a friend who did not get out on time,” she said, her voice cracking with emotion during a conversation with chef José Andrés and journalist Katy Tur.

This decision mirrors his recent absence from promotions for Lopez’s film Unstoppable, signaling his preference to stay out of the spotlight.
