FBI agents were seen entering the Fulton County Election Hub and Operation Center in Georgia on Wednesday afternoon as part of a search connected to an ongoing probe related to the 2020 election.
According to Fox News, the search is tied to a federal investigation examining issues stemming from the 2020 presidential election.
The Fulton County facility, which opened in 2023, was created to centralize and streamline election operations for the county, including ballot processing, tabulation, and election administration.

Multiple agents were observed entering the building during the afternoon hours.
No arrests were reported, and officials have not publicly disclosed the scope or duration of the search.
The FBI presence follows months of escalating scrutiny involving both state and federal authorities over election records connected to the 2020 election in Fulton County, one of Georgia’s most populous counties and a focal point of election-related disputes.

In October, the U.S. Department of Justice formally demanded that the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections produce records connected to what the Georgia State Election Board described as “unexplained anomalies in vote tabulation and storage related to the 2020 election.”
The DOJ request sought documentation tied to how ballots and election materials were handled, stored, and tabulated during and after the election.
The federal demand came amid parallel efforts by Georgia’s state election officials to obtain similar records.
In late July, the Georgia State Election Board voted 3–2 to approve a resolution requesting assistance from the Department of Justice to reexamine the handling of the 2020 election in Fulton County.
That July vote followed a subpoena issued by the state board to Fulton County on election night in 2024.
The subpoena sought extensive documentation related to the 2020 election, including ballot images, chain-of-custody forms, voter lists, documentation regarding security seals, and ballot scanner paperwork.
During a July 30 hearing at which the resolution was adopted, members of the state election board were informed that Fulton County had not complied with the subpoena.
Testimony during the hearing indicated that requested materials had not been produced despite the passage of several months.
The Georgia State Election Board has stated that its actions were driven by concerns about record retention and election administration practices, not by the outcome of the 2024 election.
Board members cited their statutory authority to investigate potential violations of election law and to seek outside assistance when necessary.
The Fulton County Election Hub and Operation Center itself became operational in 2023 and was intended to consolidate election functions that had previously been spread across multiple locations.
County officials have described the facility as a modernization effort designed to improve efficiency, transparency, and security in future elections.
The FBI search marks the most visible federal law enforcement action tied to the ongoing review.
