Speculation about Trump’s attendance at the Super Bowl has sparked conversations across New Orleans and beyond.
While there has been no official confirmation, reports that he may attend have been a dominant topic leading up to the game.
Several key figures, including Chiefs players Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, acknowledged the significance of having a president in attendance for the NFL’s biggest game of the year.
“It’s always cool to be able to play in front of a sitting president,” Mahomes said when asked about the possibility.
Kelce echoed a similar sentiment.
“I think it’s a great honor no matter who the president is,” he told the New York Post.
“I know I’m excited because it’s the biggest game of my life, you know, and having the president there, you know, it’s the best country in the world. So, that’d be pretty cool.”

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts also responded to questions about Trump potentially attending the game.
“He’s welcome to do what he wants,” Hurts said.
When asked if the former president’s presence would put additional pressure on him, Hurts simply replied, “No.”
Jones’ choice to wear a MAGA hat at the high-profile event adds to the ongoing discussion about Trump’s role in the Super Bowl spotlight.
His vocal support comes amid a broader political conversation surrounding the game, with many watching to see whether the former president makes an appearance.
As the Chiefs and Eagles prepare for kickoff, Trump’s possible attendance remains a major talking point in New Orleans and across the country.
