Former NFL offensive lineman Matt Kalil has filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife, model Haley Kalil, alleging invasion of privacy after she made explicit remarks about his anatomy during a livestream that he says caused personal and professional harm.

According to court documents reviewed by TMZ, the lawsuit was filed Tuesday and stems from comments Haley Kalil made during a November appearance on Marlon Garcia’s “Mar-Athon” livestream.

During the broadcast, Haley discussed details of their marriage and attributed its breakdown, in part, to the size of Matt Kalil’s private parts.

Matt Kalil, 36, who previously played for the Carolina Panthers and Minnesota Vikings, claims the comments were “invasive” and eliminated his ability to remain out of the public spotlight following his retirement from professional football.

He alleges the remarks resulted in widespread public discussion of intimate details of his body and personal life that he had never made public himself.

Haley Kalil’s comments included a graphic description in which she compared his anatomy to “two Coke cans, maybe even a third,” and suggested it played a role in the deterioration of their marriage, which officially ended in 2022.

At one point during the livestream, she appeared to demonstrate the size by flopping her arm on a table.

“Deadass… for our whole marriage, deadass,” she said during the broadcast.

“But I was going to try it all. We tried it all: therapist, doctors. Not even lying… Looked up lipo-type sh*t… That’s why it’s kinda funny. It’s like my life is a comedy, and it kinda writes itself.”

In the lawsuit, Matt Kalil argues that the livestream remarks subjected him to “unwanted attention and invasive commentary from the public.”

He also claims the fallout extended beyond himself, alleging that members of his family “have been forced to endure the ongoing public circulation of these degrading and deeply personal statements.”

Kalil further alleges that his current wife, Keilani Asmus, has been directly affected by the publicity surrounding the comments.

The lawsuit states that Asmus has received messages that have become “increasingly frequent, disturbing, and alarming in nature over time” since the livestream went viral.

Matt Kalil and Haley Kalil were married in 2015. Their marriage lasted seven years before ending in divorce in 2022.

Kalil later remarried in 2024, and he and Asmus share a 1-year-old son.

The lawsuit accuses Haley Kalil of publicly disclosing “highly intimate and private facts” without his consent. Kalil is seeking a jury trial and damages in excess of $75,000.

He also claims that his ex-wife financially benefited from making the statements, alleging that she “received substantial financial benefit, increased viewership, increased engagement, and monetization through various social media platforms and media coverage” as a result of the viral attention.

Following the livestream’s circulation and subsequent media coverage, Haley Kalil addressed the controversy in comments to Page Six in November, saying she continued to care about her former husband’s privacy.

“I care deeply about respecting his privacy and the integrity of what we shared together,” she told the outlet.

She also said that the livestream discussion was broader than the clips that gained traction online.

“During our livestream, we talked about so much more than what’s being highlighted — the love in our marriage, the growth we experienced, the depth of our connection,” she added.

The lawsuit does not dispute that the comments were made but centers on whether the public disclosure of intimate personal details constitutes an invasion of privacy under applicable law.

The case remains pending, and no court date has yet been announced.
