Texas Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson, who previously served as physician to both Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, is questioning whether Joe Biden was fully in control of executive decisions during his term in office.
Speaking Sunday on Fox News Channel’s Sunday Morning Futures, Jackson called for full transparency, saying the American people “need to know” who was actually running the country.
Jackson compared the situation to the presidency of Woodrow Wilson, who suffered a debilitating stroke in 1919 and was largely incapacitated for the final 17 months of his term.

“This is similar to what happened in 1919 with Edith Wilson as the First Lady, with Woodrow Wilson when he had a massive stroke, and he continued to be president for a year and a half after that,” Jackson said.
“It’s well documented that it was the physician to the president and the First Lady that kept him sequestered and that kept hidden from the press and were making the decisions about what was going on in this country.”
Jackson argued that the stakes were significantly higher during the Biden presidency than they were during Wilson’s term, citing multiple areas where he believes the administration caused long-term harm.
“The big difference is that the stakes were much higher over the last four years than they were in 1919,” Jackson said.
“And you know as well as I do all the damage that the Biden Administration did to this country across the board — whether it was overseas in Afghanistan, our reputation overseas, our southern border, the economy, or all the disgusting social issues that they tried to push down the throats of the American people.”

Jackson also raised concerns about Biden’s reported cognitive decline during his time in office.
He referenced an anecdote from the book Original Sin by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, which stated that Biden failed to recognize longtime Democratic donor and actor George Clooney at a campaign fundraiser.
“Who was signing those — who was in charge when this was happening?” Jackson asked, referring to official presidential acts such as executive orders, pardons, and legislation.
“It’s becoming very obvious from whistleblowers that it was not Joe Biden.”
Jackson pressed for accountability over what he described as a potential misuse of executive power, particularly regarding the use of an autopen — a mechanical device capable of reproducing a stored signature — to sign official documents.
“We need to know who was making decisions over those last four years, who had access to that autopen, and who was signing this legislation,” Jackson said.
“Because that’s an actual crime. If someone was running the country pretending to be the president of the United States and they weren’t, we need to know. And we need to make sure this never ever happens again.”
The use of the autopen came under scrutiny in March after President Trump claimed on Truth Social that pardons issued by Biden to members of the House committee investigating the January 6, 2021 Capitol breach were invalid due to being signed by a machine.
Jackson also cast doubt on the timing and public handling of Biden’s recent cancer diagnosis, which was announced on May 18.
According to the statement, Biden had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that had metastasized to the bone.
“They claim that they diagnosed it on a Friday, that they biopsied it on the same day, got the results back, found out it was prostate cancer, and then they basically realized that it had metastasized all over his body,” Jackson said.
“That’s a little unbelievable, if you ask me.”
Jackson suggested that the cancer announcement may have been timed to draw attention away from damaging revelations, including the release of former Special Counsel Robert Hur’s interview recordings and the upcoming release of Tapper’s book.
“I think it was a diversion,” Jackson said. “It was right before the book came out with Jake Tapper and right after the Hur tapes, so I think they were trying to create sympathy for the former president.”
As of now, there has been no official response from the Biden team addressing Jackson’s remarks.
White House medical disclosures have remained limited, and no further information has been released about Biden’s cancer prognosis.
