A late-night car meet turned into a nightmare in Las Cruces, New Mexico, when a violent shootout left three young men dead and 15 others wounded.
What was supposed to be an unsanctioned car show at Young Park on Friday evening turned into a bloodbath, as rival groups with simmering tensions escalated their feud into open gunfire, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.
Police have now arrested four suspects: 20-year-old Tomas Rivas, his 17-year-old brother Adrian Rivas-Hidalgo, another 17-year-old, and a 15-year-old boy. All four face three open counts of murder, with more charges likely coming.

The victims killed in the shooting were 16-year-old Andrew Madrid, 18-year-old Jason Gomez, and 19-year-old Dominick Estrada.
Madrid and Gomez were pronounced dead at the scene, while Estrada died later at a nearby hospital. The other victims, ranging in age from 16 to 36, include both males and females who sustained various injuries. Police have chosen not to release their names at this time.

Law enforcement says the violence erupted around 10 p.m. Friday night at Young Park, where approximately 200 people had gathered. The gathering was not an official event, and the lack of security made it an easy target for those intent on violence.
Police believe the shootout stemmed from an ongoing conflict between the two groups involved.
Rivas is currently being held without bond in the Dona Ana County Detention Center. The juvenile suspects are being held in the youth section of the detention facility.
Law enforcement from the FBI, ATF, New Mexico State Police, and federal prosecutors are now assisting the Las Cruces Police Department in what has become a full-scale investigation.
The fact that a 15-year-old has now been arrested for his involvement should outrage every parent in America. These aren’t just “kids being kids.” This is gang-style violence fueled by lawlessness, and it’s happening on our own soil in broad daylight—or, in this case, under the cover of night.
If there was ever a wake-up call about the consequences of a culture that coddles criminals and ignores the rising youth violence epidemic, this is it.
And if Democrat-run cities and soft-on-crime policies keep enabling this kind of environment, more blood will be spilled in neighborhoods across the country.
As for Rivas and the three minors, they won’t be back on the streets anytime soon if justice is served. But the damage they’ve done is irreversible.
