Guess Which Billionaire Funded Mamdani’s Campaign
SHARE

Zohran Mamdani doesn’t think that anybody should be allowed to be a billionaire.

Which is why, I suppose, he and his supporters are so eager to redistribute it to themselves. The vast majority of the money backing Mamdani’s campaign comes from millionaires and billionaires from outside New York City, laundered through organizations backing Mamdani’s campaign.

So a multibillionaire finance tycoon is backing a multimillionaire trust fund kid who says he represents the working class even though he’s never had a job and wants us all to live under socialism because he hates billionaires so much.

How does anyone fall for this absolute con. https://t.co/0DwUcmCAW2

One of the biggest contributors, as you would expect, is George Soros and his Open Societies Foundation, which is a major backer of the Working Families Party, a socialist political party. Then there are the billionaires who fund the Democratic Socialists of America as well as the “grassroots” organizations that have mobilized Mamdani’s volunteers, who are the backbone of his campaign.

Since 2016, the far-left, socialist-friendly WFP — which helped score Mandani the Democratic line by brokering cross-endorsement deals that squeezed out Cuomo — has pocketed a staggering $23.7 million from Soros through its nonprofit fundraising arm Working Families Organization Inc.

And at least another $13,944,005 went to the nine nonprofits and their offshoot fundraising entities — including the Make The Road Action ($3,515,00), and social justice nonprofits Community Voices Heard ($2,635,000) and Move On ($2.3 million), and the anti-Zionist group Jewish Voice for Peace Acton ($650,000), according to records.

All those groups backed the Queens assemblyman’s mayoral campaign – as well as his Marxist agenda that includes advocating for criminal migrants and condemning Israel.

“While Zohran Mamdani attacks job creators and rails against wealth, the truth is he’s benefiting from millions in support from billionaires and the very nonprofit network he pretends to stand apart from,” Mayor Eric Adams told The Post.

Mamdani himself is a child of privilege, cosplaying as a man of the people. His mother is a millionaire filmmaker, his father a college professor, and he a graduate of tony private schools whose doors have never been darkened by the children of working families. He is your classic Jacobin yearning to be in the vanguard of the proletariat.

Mamdani’s campaign is, believe it or not, a creation of the elite who, for their own reason, want one of their own to remake New York City into a socialist paradise.

Although Soros and his family didn’t directly donate to Mamdani’s campaign, Patrick Gaspard, a former Open Society Foundations president who is now a distinguished senior fellow for a liberal think tank heavily funded by Soros called Center for American Progress, did play a key role.

Gaspard, a longtime pal of far-left ex-Mayor Bill de Blasio who served as a top aide to former President Barack Obama, quietly helped guide Mamdani throughout the campaign, the New York Times reported.

We often overlook direct campaign contributions, but much of the money that fuels campaigns is now channeled through third parties. Then there is the public money that becomes available when a candidate becomes eligible, greatly amplifying the money that flows directly and indirectly to the campaign. That is similar to the USAID money that flowed into Soros-backed organizations, amplifying his more modest contributions.

🚨 EXPOSED: The “Quiet Money” Machine Behind Zohran Mamdani’s Fake Grassroots Campaign

The organization, White Collar Crime, outlined the money laundering scheme. All told, what you see is a manufactured “grassroots” organization, backed by big left-wing money that recruits glib, good-looking candidates trained at the best schools and backed by social media expertise developed by some of the most sophisticated players.

Mamdani’s marketing tactics has heavy Kamala Harris vibes. https://t.co/qeNITA1QeL

Mamdani, for instance, has spent nearly $100,000 with AEG Presents, a promotional company that has worked with artists such as Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, and Elton John. They are the second-largest presenter of live music and the largest owner of sports teams globally.

It’s all manufactured, in other words. Mamdani is as grassroots as Beyoncé is a struggling artist.

I suppose you could argue that one good thing comes out of these revelations: it is a myth that all billionaires manipulate politics solely for pecuniary reasons. While many people in finance have a primary interest in politics that revolves around ensuring their financial stability, a significant number of billionaires — especially those who inherit their wealth — dabble in politics for ideological reasons, although they aren’t above profiting from undermining capitalism.

Neville Singham, that aforementioned China-based billionaire, is a self-proclaimed Marxist. He made his money running an IT company that partners with the Chinese Communist Party, and is a major backer of the Pro-Hamas protests here in the United States. His avowed goal is to destroy the capitalist system in the United States.

Soros famously made his billions by, among other things, taking down the British Pound.

Zohran Mamdani is, it seems, genuinely a radical. But his radicalism is that of a child of privilege who doesn’t understand what makes the world work and whose understanding of working-class people is as deep as reading radical texts and taking advice from social media companies, which develop their messaging through focus groups and A/B testing.

It’s not a lock that Mamdani will win, but it seems pretty likely. Andrew Cuomo and Eric Adams are cannibalizing each other’s votes, and a unified cadre of radical activists who learned their politics in the schools and universities are doing their best to sweep him to victory.

A Mayor Mamdani will not be able to turn New York into a communist hellhole on day one. But he will be an even worse version of fellow faker Bill de Blasio, which is bad enough.
