Hello, Larry! Townhall Names O’Connor As New Editor

I’m thrilled to announce that my friend – and former contributor to Hot Air – Larry O’Connor has taken the reins at our sister site Townhall, effective immediately. Larry succeeds Katie Pavlich, who recently left for a full-time anchor slot at News Nation, which she began last night. On her inaugural show, Katie interviewed Nick Shirley and other big newsmakers, and she’s just getting started. 

Meanwhile, Larry’s a great fit as her successor. He has already done practically everything for the Townhall Media platform except stand in for Cam Edwards at Shot Show. Townhall’s official announcement through Salem Media covers all the details.

In addition, listeners, Capitol Hill staffers, White House officials, and decision-makers across the Washington, D.C. region hear O’Connor every morning during drive time on WMAL 105.9 FM.

O’Connor is also a frequent lecturer at Hillsdale and The Heritage Foundation and is well known for his enthusiasm for Navy football. He learned the art of war from Andrew Breitbart himself as editor of Breitbart TV.

As Editor of Townhall.com, O’Connor will oversee editorial strategy and guide Townhall’s continued growth as a premier media outlet for conservative news, commentary, and analysis.
