President Donald Trump took to Truth Social early Sunday morning to criticize radio host Charlamagne tha God, accusing him of being a “low IQ individual” and “racist sleazebag,” following his appearance on his daughter-in-law Lara Trump’s Fox News show “My View.”
Charlamagne — real name Lenard McKelvey — said the Jeffrey Epstein scandal could give conservative traditionalists an opportunity to reclaim the Republican Party from the MAGA movement. He said that “traditional conservatives” could leverage the Epstein Files to shift control of the party. “This Epstein thing is going to be a way for traditional conservatives to take their party back. I really do. I think that they know this is the issue that has riled up [the] base. The MAGA base isn’t letting this issue go,” he said.
Trump’s post mocked Charlamagne’s stage name. “Why is he allowed to use the word ‘GOD’ when describing himself? Can anyone imagine the uproar there would be if I used that nickname?”

Trump also questioned Charlamagne tha God’s intelligence, calling him a “low IQ individual.” Trump said Charlamagne “knows nothing about me or what I have done – like just ending 5 Wars, including a 31-year bloodbath between Republic of the Congo and Rwanda.” (RELATED: ‘Start A Podcast’: Charlamagne Seems Unenthused About Prospect Of Kamala Harris 2028 Run)
“This dope, Charlamagne, would vote for Sleepy Joe or Kamala,” Trump added.
