Hillary Clinton Should Be Behind Bars Over Russia Hoax: Megyn Kelly [WATCH]

Megyn Kelly called for the arrest of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton following new disclosures connected to the investigation of the Trump-Russia collusion narrative.

Kelly’s remarks came in response to newly surfaced information contained in an annex to Special Counsel John Durham’s report, which she said further exposed the origins of the so-called Russiagate hoax.

During an episode of her program, Kelly said that Clinton and her associates should be held criminally accountable for allegedly orchestrating false allegations that President Donald Trump was acting as an agent of the Russian government.

These claims became the basis for years of investigations, media coverage, and political controversy.

“Can I just stop for a second? This woman should be in jail. Literally, Hillary Clinton should be behind bars and so should the people who work for her who did this,” Kelly said on her show, according to a post on her website.

“This is so blatantly corrupt. She wanted to distract from her email scandal. She cooked up a plan to accuse Trump of being a Russian agent in order to distract from her own legitimate scandal,” Kelly continued.

“She made up a scandal about Trump being a Russian asset, and they banked on the intel agencies working with her to perpetuate this lie. And it appears they were only too happy to assist.”

Special Counsel John Durham was appointed in 2020 to investigate the origins and conduct of the FBI’s “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation, which centered on allegations that members of the Trump campaign had colluded with Russian officials during the 2016 presidential election.

While Durham’s final report was released publicly in May 2023, new documents connected to the investigation continue to be disclosed.

“What just broke today moments before we came to air… was obviously provided to Michael Shellenberger and his Substack page Public before two minutes ago,” Kelly said, referencing a newly obtained annex to the Durham report.

“He has a fantastic breakdown of what’s in… the annex to the Durham report,” Kelly added.

Michael Shellenberger, a journalist and author, published details from the annex on his Substack page.

The annex reportedly contains material not previously released with Durham’s official report.

“Pieces of it we knew. New pieces are coming in by the day thanks to these declassifications, and it is downright shocking,” Kelly said.

“Do not believe that there’s no there there. The people who are saying that are wrong. They’re wrong.”

Kelly criticized the lack of legal accountability in the aftermath of the investigation into the Trump campaign.

“That is what this scandal is about,” she said.

Durham’s findings concluded that the FBI lacked sufficient evidence to launch the original 2016 investigation and criticized the agency for relying heavily on politically funded opposition research. Despite those findings, few prosecutions resulted from the investigation.

Kelly emphasized that even Durham’s report did not include all available information.

“Well, even his information was not made entirely public,” she said.

The renewed interest in Clinton’s alleged role in promoting false claims comes amid growing calls for transparency and accountability from former intelligence officials and political figures who participated in or promoted the Russia collusion narrative.
