Hochul 2023: Tells Republicans to Move to Florida; 2026: PLEASE COME BACK!

Yesterday, I wrote about Kathy Hochul’s plea to wealthy former New Yorkers to come back so they could pay higher taxes to fund her generous social programs, like the ones that house, feed, provide cash, and medical care to illegal aliens.

The internet had quite the laugh about it, for obvious reasons. 

Hochul’s appeal to the millionaires who are fleeing New York came last week at a POLITICO “Fireside Chat” that was fascinating, if you are into such things. It gave us insight into the dilemma that national Democrats face: their base is radicalized, their records are appalling, and their states are bleeding citizens. 

The reason their states are bleeding citizens? The Democrats farm them for taxes, and as Hochul admits, while wealthier citizens used to be trapped because their high-income jobs were based in Blue states, remote work or businesses moving have made it possible for them to leave. 

They were “trapped,” but no longer, and this is ruining the Democrats’ grift. 

Hochul,  back in 2023, during her gubernatorial campaign, was singing quite a different tune. 

That’s what a Democrat says to her base, which is so radicalized and so ignorant of economics that they actually believe that they are poor because the wealthy are rich, as if wealth is stolen, not created. 

In 2023 Hochul FA’d; in 2026 she is Finding Out. FAFO. 

As Margaret Thatcher said, you always run out of other people’s money. 

The Democrats have moved radically left on both social and economic policy, and this has been the primary driver of the “great sort.” As the socialists create “transgender sanctuary states,” push males into women’s space, raise taxes to astronomical levels, and tolerate fraud at levels that would make Mexico’s politicians blanch, more and more people are fleeing to freer states like Florida. 

The Democrats’ response, until recently, has been “good riddance.” 

But they are running out of people to fleece, and yet they still won’t let go of the radical policies. Quite the opposite. They figtht to expand their voting base, recruiting new voters in the illegal alien “community,” raise taxes on the diminishing class of high-income taxpayers, and accuse people of being unpatriotic for leaving. 

Fidel Castro did that, and look at where it got Cuba.

“That’s correct. It’s the same model that was employed in Confucius institutes because the Chinese Communist Party, through Hanban, as Dr. Wood outlined, controlled teacher selection. teacher training, and curricula. It’s the same model, so they can, in fact, control what students are learning on campus through these models.”

Still, the most popular politicians among younger Democrats, who have been indoctrinated in our government schools and in colleges that are now almost extensions of the world governments in the world, are the socialists like Mamdani. Socialists are now running several of our big Blue cities, and the activists are thrilled.

There used to be moderate Democrats, but they sold their soul for the votes of younger radicals, without whom they believe they would never get elected. 

The result is clear: the numbers don’t add up, normal people don’t want their daughters competing against and undressing in front of boys, and they leave for greener pastures.
