Liberal billionaire Mark Cuban faced sharp criticism from Tucker Carlson during a debate at the “All In” summit in Los Angeles, where the two clashed over whether the United States should continue sending money to Ukraine, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

The three-day event, held from Saturday to Monday, featured panels on artificial intelligence, the Jeffrey Epstein files, antisemitism, and other global issues.

Cuban, best known as the owner of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks and an investor on the television show Shark Tank, joined Carlson for a discussion that turned contentious when the topic of Ukraine funding was raised.

One of the moderators asked Cuban if he believed Americans should continue providing financial support to Ukraine. Cuban admitted he did not have a clear position, saying:

“Honestly, I don’t have a good answer. I can make an argument both ways. Half my family is Ukrainian on my grandparents’ side. So, personally, I think we should help. But I don’t have a study to answer for you.”

Carlson immediately pressed Cuban on his personal contribution. “How much money have you sent to Ukraine?” he asked. Cuban replied, “None.” Carlson followed up by asking, “Oh, so what do you mean by ‘we’?”

Cuban did not respond immediately, prompting Carlson to continue. “You’re the one whose family’s from Ukraine. Why don’t you send them a billion dollars?” he asked. Cuban replied that his focus was on healthcare. “Because I’m trying to fix healthcare,” he said.

Carlson countered, “Why don’t you fix their healthcare? If you think ‘we’ need to help, why don’t you start? How about you first? I notice that’s never even an option for anybody. It’s like, ‘we need to help!’ That’s not what charity is. Forcing other people to help is not charity!”

The exchange left Cuban largely on the defensive, with Carlson arguing that Cuban’s stance highlighted a disconnect between wealthy advocates of foreign aid and their personal willingness to contribute.

The debate, which lasted over an hour, drew attention online after clips of the exchange circulated on social media. Carlson appeared shortly before the 20-minute mark of the summit session, where he challenged Cuban’s remarks directly in front of the audience.

The sharp exchange underscored growing divisions in U.S. political discourse over ongoing funding for Ukraine, with critics raising questions about priorities at home versus continued foreign commitments.
