It was hard to miss the geriatric skew of October’s “No Kings” protesters. Wheelchair-bound participants aside (I witnessed at least one), the humor on display felt dated. Inflatable costumes and punny signs are not Gen Z hallmarks.
Now, The New York Times (NYT) admits what anyone who witnessed a No Kings protest knew: The Trump resistance movement is made up of baby boomers. Baby boomers living out a Civil Rights-era fantasy, having been born too late to participate in the genuine article.
