It’s Take Your Child to Work Day at the White House, and the children of the White House press corps and administration officials did not hold back when questioning press secretary Karoline Leavitt on Tuesday during a special press briefing.
Questions from the children included, “What superpower would Trump have?” “Who is Trump’s favorite soccer player?” and one reminiscent of the Biden administration, “What is the president’s favorite flavor of ice cream?”

One precocious young girl sent the room into laughter by asking about President Donald Trump’s personnel policy.
“How many people has he fired?” asked young Bobby-Lynn.

Leavitt and the rest of the staffers and reporters in the room couldn’t hold back their chuckles at such a direct question. It’s unclear if Bobby-Lynn was inspired by Trump’s famous reality show, “The Apprentice,” or the slashing of government bureaucracy being recommended by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). “Thus far, actually, we have not had anyone fired with the exception of one individual who did leave their job,” Leavitt responded, presumably referring to former National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, who Trump recently nominated to serve as ambassador to the United Nations.
