Doorbell camera footage released on Tuesday revealed a troubling incident in North Carolina, where a volunteer delivering hurricane relief aid reportedly threatened to withhold future assistance due to a Trump sign in the homeowner’s yard.

The video, obtained by the End Wokeness account on X, shows an elderly woman walking up to the porch of a North Carolina home to deliver what appears to be dog beds.

The homeowner greets her, and after handing over the mattress, the volunteer appears to voice concerns about the Trump sign visible in the yard.

“This is the last of ’em,” the woman says as she delivers the mattress.

When the homeowner asks if more aid will be provided, the volunteer responds, “I’m really conflicted — I have a lot more stuff to give, but I am not a fan of Donald Trump, so these signs are a problem for me.”

She points to the red, white, and blue Trump yard sign before walking away, leaving the homeowner visibly stunned.

The video, timestamped from Tuesday, indicates that the relief efforts are still ongoing in parts of the state, following the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, which struck in late September.

While much of the relief effort has been carried out by FEMA, this video adds to growing concerns over the politicization of disaster relief in the state.

This incident recalls previous claims that FEMA had been withholding aid from Trump supporters in the aftermath of natural disasters.

The accusations were first made by then-President Trump during his 2020 campaign.

While mainstream media outlets dismissed these allegations as baseless, the controversy resurfaced after the election.

The Biden-Harris administration was forced to fire a FEMA employee who admitted to directing workers to bypass homes displaying pro-Trump signs.

In addition to the concerns about FEMA’s handling of aid, many North Carolina residents have complained about insufficient relief.

Reports suggest that the maximum $750 relief promised by President Biden has not been widely distributed, leaving many in dire need of support.

There have also been reports of FEMA’s operations being hampered by delays and poor coordination, including military choppers causing disruptions at aid staging areas.

Glenn Beck of The Blaze reported that some on-the-ground personnel seemed more focused on preventing amateur helicopter pilots from conducting rescue missions than on assisting residents stranded in hard-hit areas.

The video also serves as a reminder of the broader political tensions surrounding disaster relief efforts in North Carolina.

President Trump visited the state in late October to provide support to hurricane survivors, pledging that the federal government would continue to provide assistance to those affected.

“We’re going to continue to be with you,” Trump said at the time. “You’ve gotta get a better crew in to do a better job than has been done by the White House.

Many Americans in this region have felt abandoned and helpless and left behind by their government, and yet in North Carolina’s hour of desperation, the American people answered the call.”

Despite ongoing relief efforts, the incident in Whitefish Bay raises concerns about the potential politicization of disaster aid and the challenges faced by residents in securing the help they need.

As recovery efforts continue, the question remains: will residents receive the assistance they are entitled to, or will politics continue to play a role in determining who gets aid?
