Lucy Connolly spent a year in prison for making an intemperate tweet. 

Over 12,000 Britons a year are arrested for their social media posts. The police visit countless more and warn them of their “non-crime hate speech.” 

Yet…the only people who get punished for their speech are, SURPRISE!, conservatives. 

Kent Police have decided that no crime has been committed after Charlotte Hayes called for conservatives to be murdered: “Why is anyone condemning that. Kill them all. Kill them all.”

It started with Ricky Jones and now it’s spreading across the country.

Meanwhile Lucy Connolly was jailed for a tweet.

By now, it is a commonplace to point out that Great Britain has a two-tier legal system, both on violent crime and the execrable hate speech regime. Or, for that matter, on whether you can protest or even merely say things that can offend people. 

Ricky Jones was filmed calling post-Southport protestors “disgusting Nazi fascists”, and told a mob of socialist demonstrators to cut all their throats and get rid of them all.”

Somehow, a jury reached a not guilty verdict in under an hour.

Migrants, and Labor Party members for that matter, can say anything they want without consequence. Migrant rapists are let off for sexual crimes because their culture permits or encourages them. Judges express sympathy for perpetrators of heinous crimes, including rape, because, after all, they can do such things in Pakistan. 

Police officers in the UK force a volunteer to leave a public street for praying and holding a sign reading “Pregnant? Need help?”

She was standing OUTSIDE the “buffer zone” and was not within view of the abortion clinic.

Let’s not even get into the “grooming gangs,” where police essentially aided and abetted the serial rapists. 

A Christian can be arrested for silently praying or reading the Bible on Speaker’s Corner, but a leftist Member of Parliament or podcaster can literally incite people to murder, and the government shrugs. Diversity is our strength or something.

It must be that they accept that murderous inclinations are part of their culture. Conservatives, after all, must be upright and civilized, but lefties are expected to be raving lunatics. 

Isabel has been arrested again for praying silently outside an abortion clinic.

Police will escort people away for “offending” somebody, or even show up at their house and arrest them. But apparently they don’t think that explicit calls to murder are “offensive.”

It’s bizarre. Both because in a rational world, offending somebody should not be a crime, and because the only people “protected” by such laws are Muslims and liberals. 

This police inspector is painfully out of his depth. He cites legislation banning photographs of public buildings but doesn’t know what it is.
He says, “I find that hateful, offensive” when the man says he prefers the Union Jack to a Pride flag.

These laws are all about shutting down the disfavored opinions, and everybody knows it. It’s just that the political and social elite in Great Britain almost all agree that shutting down the speech of conservatives is good.
