ICE in Philadelphia Conducts Raid on Illegal Immigrants Using Tactic Halted by Biden Administration [WATCH]

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents conducted a worksite raid at a car wash in Philadelphia, resulting in the arrest of seven illegal aliens.

The operation, which took place on January 28 at Complete Autowash, was part of an enforcement effort targeting allegations of labor exploitation, the agency confirmed.

According to ICE, agents arrived at the Philadelphia business and conducted interviews with employees as part of their investigation.

Seven individuals were determined to be in the country illegally and were taken into custody for immigration violations.

ICE officials stated that all seven have been detained pending removal proceedings.

Of those arrested, six were identified as Mexican nationals, while one was from the Dominican Republic.

“The successful execution of this worksite enforcement operation underscores our determined commitment to national security and public safety,” said Brian McShane, acting field office director for ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in Philadelphia.

“We were able to apprehend individuals who are unlawfully present in the United States. These operations highlight the dedication and diligence of our officers and agents in protecting our communities from potential threats by enforcing immigration laws in accordance with U.S. laws and Department of Homeland Security policies,” McShane added.

The Philadelphia operation is part of a broader effort by ICE as worksite enforcement has ramped up under President Donald Trump’s administration.

During the previous administration, such workplace operations had largely ceased.

Fox News national correspondent Bill Melugin reported that one senior ICE official reacted to the operation by saying, “Wowsers,” noting that such actions had not been happening in recent years.

Tom Homan, Trump’s Border Czar, has reiterated the administration’s position that anyone in the U.S. illegally is subject to deportation, regardless of whether they have a criminal record.

Since the Trump administration took office, ICE has conducted widespread enforcement operations across multiple states.

As of January 31, ICE reported that more than 7,400 illegal immigrants had been arrested within nine days. The agency has also issued nearly 6,000 detainers for individuals in custody, signaling an aggressive approach to immigration enforcement.

ICE officers have been carrying out targeted raids at homes, businesses, and other locations.

Deportation efforts have intensified, with the administration pledging to remove violent criminals from the U.S., including a plan to send the most dangerous offenders to Guantánamo Bay.

As enforcement continues, ICE operations are expected to expand, targeting additional workplaces and suspected immigration violations across the country.
