Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Boston carried out targeted operations this week, focusing on the apprehension of criminal illegal aliens, including members of the violent MS-13 gang and individuals wanted for serious crimes like murder and rape.
The arrests are part of a broader deportation initiative under President Donald Trump aimed at prioritizing public safety threats.
Fox News, which embedded exclusively with ICE during the operation, observed eight arrests, including MS-13 members, individuals wanted by Interpol for serious offenses, and a Haitian gang member with 18 prior convictions.

Patricia Hyde, Acting Field Office Director for ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in Boston, highlighted the importance of these actions.
“Today was a good day. Today we took several significant public safety threats out of our communities,” Hyde told Fox News.
She also criticized sanctuary jurisdictions for releasing dangerous individuals despite ICE detainers.
“Unfortunately, a lot were released by sanctuary policies. But we’re here to tell the Commonwealth and the rest of the country that we’re going to find them, whether they’re released or not.”
One notable arrest included a collateral apprehension, where an illegal alien not initially targeted was taken into custody because of their association with a known MS-13 member.
The gang member had been released earlier in the week by a sanctuary jurisdiction that failed to honor an ICE detainer.
While some communities remain critical of ICE’s actions, others have expressed gratitude.
During one of the arrests, Fox News captured a moment where a resident shouted “thank you” to the agents for their efforts in removing a violent individual from their neighborhood.
Tom Homan, Trump’s former border czar, has previously warned that collateral arrests would become more common in sanctuary cities, where ICE operations often encounter resistance from local policies that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement.
Boston’s operation is part of a nationwide crackdown on illegal immigration under the Trump administration.
In the early days of this effort, ICE reported more than 460 arrests of illegal immigrants across the country, with a focus on those with criminal histories.
Offenses among the detainees include sexual assault, domestic violence, drug crimes, and weapons charges.
Arrests have been carried out in states such as Illinois, Utah, California, Minnesota, New York, Florida, and Maryland.
The detainees represent a wide range of nationalities, including individuals from Afghanistan, Angola, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Senegal, and Venezuela.
One of the detainees, captured on camera, declared, “I’m not going back to Haiti” and expressed disdain for the former president, saying, “f**k Trump. You feel me? Yo, Biden forever! Bro! Thank Obama for everything he did for me, Bro!”

The ultimate FAFO.

The arrests reflect the Trump administration’s commitment to enforcing immigration laws and prioritizing public safety.
The mass deportation efforts aim to address not only violent offenders but also those who pose broader risks to the safety and security of communities.
As ICE continues its operations, it remains to be seen how sanctuary jurisdictions will respond to federal efforts to apprehend and remove criminal illegal aliens.
For now, agents like those in Boston are demonstrating their determination to carry out the administration’s mandate, even in the face of local opposition.
