The Austin Police Department has arrested a 17-year-old in connection with the March 9 murder of Infowars reporter Jamie White. Authorities say the fatal shooting occurred during an attempted vehicle burglary outside White’s home in Austin, Texas.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Eloy Adrian Camarillo, 17, was taken into custody on April 30 and has been charged with capital murder by terror threat/other felony.
His bond has been set at $250,000. According to court documents, Camarillo admitted to police that he and three other individuals were targeting Kia vehicles known for being easier to steal.

The group allegedly intended to take White’s green Kia Soul for a joy ride when White confronted them outside his residence.
During the encounter, White was shot in the neck. He later died from his injuries. Camarillo reportedly told investigators that the shooting took place as White attempted to stop the group from taking the vehicle.

According to surveillance footage and witness accounts, the suspects were also involved in the theft of a black and silver Kia Soul between March 9 and March 11. Witnesses saw the black Kia pull up alongside White’s green Kia Soul before the fatal shooting.
KXAN reported that surveillance footage from the area showed the black Kia Soul leaving the scene on Douglas Street, heading north toward Oltorf Street.
The vehicle was later found abandoned near 5100 Sara Drive in east Austin. The black Kia Soul had been reported stolen the day after the murder from an apartment complex in Kyle, Texas.
Additional surveillance from the complex in Kyle showed a man in a black mask exiting a silver Kia Soul and attempting to break into multiple vehicles before stealing the black Kia.
That silver Kia Soul had also been reported stolen on March 9 from Delores Avenue in east Austin and was later discovered abandoned in southeast Travis County.
Investigators secured search warrants for cellphone tower data covering locations tied to the stolen vehicles and the suspects’ movements. A single cellphone number was identified at each of the key locations, leading authorities to Camarillo.
Police say three other suspects involved in the incident remain at large. Authorities have not yet disclosed whether Camarillo is a U.S. citizen.
The investigation remains ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information on the other suspects to come forward.
