Israel Eliminates Hamas Operative and Pravda Media Cries Foul

Last night, the Israeli Defense Forces eliminated a Hamas terror cell leader who led a rocket battalion. 

There is no doubt that he was a member of Hamas. He is on their rolls, posted photos of himself laughing it up with Hamas leadership, and celebrated October 7th on social media.

He was also a “journalist” for Al-Jazeera, so Pravda is very, very sad that he got taken out.

In a sane world, journalists would be outraged that terrorists (or members of any military) would claim a status as a “journalist” in order to make themselves immune from attack. After all, that places all journalists at risk. Just as it is a war crime to pose as a doctor and use ambulances as mobile fighting bases, station soldiers at hospitals, schools, and among civilians, or to use civilians as human shields, journalists should value their neutral status as a partial shield. The “Press” label is not a magic shield–covering a war is dangerous–but it is supposed to mark the wearer as a noncombatant. 

So if combatants hide as journalists, they make “Press” fair game. They should applaud the elimination of fakers.

Al-Sharif was the head of a Hamas terrorist cell and advanced rocket attacks on Israeli civilians and IDF troops.

Intelligence and documents from Gaza, including rosters, terrorist training lists and salary records, prove he was a Hamas operative integrated into Al Jazeera. 

A press badge isn’t a shield for terrorism.

Our media doesn’t think like that, because they see Hamas as their allies in covering the war. EVERY “journalist” in Gaza is tied to Hamas in one way or another, just as all the statistics coming out of the “Gaza Health Ministry” that are so prominent in every news story are made up by Hamas. The “Gaza Health Ministry” IS Hamas.

Anas Al-Sharif wasn’t a secret Hamas operative. He was pretty open about it, actually. There is paperwork, and his social media is filled with pro-Hamas propaganda. It’s just that Pravda is on Hamas’ side, so they don’t see a problem with his dual role as a propagandist.

Left-wing media outlet The Independent claims there is ‘No credible evidence’ Al Jazeera ‘journalist’ Anas Al-Sharif was part of Hamas.

Sure, they don’t want YOU to know that they know–they understand that the facts undermine their own credibility, to the extent they have any left–but just as the New York Times uses a Hitler-admiring reporter to cover Gaza, the AP is happy to share offices with Hamas, and UNRWA employees moonlight as hostage takers, everybody is in on the scam.

This “Gazan journalist” is just another Nazi whose idea of “reliable reporting” includes — but isn’t limited to — praising Hitler, glorifying the Holocaust, and calling to repeat it.

The death of al-Sharif is being used to further the narrative that Israel is targeting “journalists,” and no doubt the useful idiots who lap up the sewage spewed by these Pravda outlets and declare it fine wine will express outrage at uncivilized Jews, but the fact is that anybody in a position of responsibility in Gaza is there at Hamas’ sufferance at best, and support in fact.

There are innocent civilians in Gaza–about 30% of Gazans say they didn’t support Hamas’ attack on October 7th–but you can rest assured that none of them are working in journalism or “government” agencies. 

You may recall that the Associated Press submitted a photograph taken by one of its stringers for the Pulitzer Prize. The “photojournalist” was a participant in the October 7th attacks, which explains how he got such compelling photos.

No doubt we will be treated to “journalists” expressing moralistic outrage on the cable news channels and further accusations that journalists are being targeted by Israel, but at this point, it is just background noise for the 70% of Americans who understand that the media represent the bad guys. 

I suggest they all do a tour in Gaza in order to prove their moral courage is genuine.
