Israeli-American Hostage’s Father Urges Biden, Harris to Secure Deal with ‘Savage Terrorists’ [VIDEO]

Jonathan Dekel-Chen, the father of Israeli-American hostage Sagui, is urging President Biden and Vice President Harris to take swift action as they enter the Situation Room with the U.S. negotiating team.

Dekel-Chen’s message is crystal clear: “The only way to get hostages home alive is by some kind of negotiated agreement with Satan.” His son is among the 101 hostages still held by Hamas, and he isn’t mincing words about what it will take to bring them back, as reported by Fox News.

Dekel-Chen’s frustration stems from what he sees as Israel’s misguided belief that military pressure alone will force Hamas to release the hostages.

He pointed out that six hostages were returned dead last week, and the situation is growing more dire by the day. “The time is over for selling this fantasy of total victory over Hamas at the expense of our sons, daughters, grandparents who are hostages in Gaza,” he stated.

His criticism doesn’t stop with the Israeli government. Dekel-Chen acknowledges the support from the Biden administration but insists more must be done.

He praised the U.S. for its efforts but emphasized that the final push is crucial. “A little more is necessary, and that’s what we’re asking for, that last little push to convince Hamas and the Israeli government to get to yes, to end this madness, and to get our people home,” he said.

As Biden and Harris meet with the negotiating team, the pressure is mounting not just from the families of the hostages but from the streets of Israel as well.

Massive protests erupted in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and other cities after the bodies of hostages were returned. The frustration is palpable, and it’s directed squarely at the Israeli leadership for their failure to secure a deal.

Dekel-Chen believes the time for excuses is over. He argues that Hamas is no longer capable of governing Gaza and that Israel’s leadership is using the continued presence of Hamas as a political tool.

“The only resistance in Israel is from the government itself,” Dekel-Chen asserted, accusing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s coalition of being unwilling or unable to make the tough decisions needed to bring the hostages home.

The Biden administration, along with Qatar and Egypt, is working to broker a deal, but time is running out. Dekel-Chen’s message is urgent and unyielding: It’s time to end the madness and bring the hostages home.
