J.D. Vance Predicts Clinton Indictment After Comey’s Criminal Charges [WATCH]

With former FBI Director James Comey scheduled to surrender to authorities this week, Vice President J.D. Vance said on Sunday that Hillary Clinton may be the next figure tied to the government’s “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation to face indictment.

Comey is expected to turn himself in on Friday after being charged with two counts of lying to Congress and obstruction of a congressional investigation.

The indictment comes about a week after President Donald Trump urged Attorney General Pam Bondi to prosecute several political opponents, including Comey and Clinton.

WASHINGTON D.C., USA – April 7, 2025: United States President Donald Trump meets with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the White House in Washington DC.

Earlier this summer, administration officials referred Obama-era figures to the Justice Department for criminal prosecution linked to Crossfire Hurricane, the 2016-era investigation into allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian officials.

Both Comey and Clinton were named in those referrals.

Documents provided by Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines suggest Clinton had prior knowledge that her then-national security advisor, Jake Sullivan, intended to “stir things up” by sharing information with U.S. intelligence to distract from the controversy surrounding her private email server.

“There’s going to be more indictments coming over the next three and a half years of the Trump administration. This was an indictment delivered in Alexandria, Virginia, not exactly a hotbed of Donald Trump’s political support,” Vice President Vance said, referring to Comey’s case.

Comey’s past testimony before Congress has also drawn renewed scrutiny. Former Congressman Jason Chaffetz, now a Fox News correspondent, recalled questioning Comey during a 2016 hearing about whether Clinton ever lied to the FBI.

“Not to the FBI,” Comey said at the time.

Asked if Clinton’s sworn statements denying that her emails contained classified material were investigated, Comey responded, “Not to my knowledge.”

Fox contributor Anita Vogel referenced statements from Devin Nunes, who chairs the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board, accusing Clinton of advancing the claim that Trump colluded with Russia.

Vogel noted a 2022 CNN report in which Clinton’s campaign manager acknowledged the Democrat approved a plan to spread the collusion allegations.

“This is not some right-wing conspiracy. This is not some Republican talking points,” Vogel said.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if she could be indicted and finally have to answer some of these questions about this Russia-collusion narrative” and the Steele dossier, which has since been discredited.

The potential for Clinton to face charges comes as she continues to weigh in on foreign policy.

Last week, she appeared on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” and expressed approval of President Trump’s latest remarks on the Russia-Ukraine war.

“I welcomed what the president said yesterday,” Clinton told the hosts, praising Trump’s position that Ukraine could regain territory lost to Russia.

The Justice Department has not announced whether it intends to pursue charges against Clinton, but the indictment of Comey has intensified speculation about additional prosecutions related to Crossfire Hurricane.

Vance and other administration officials have suggested that more indictments may be forthcoming as the investigation moves forward.
