Jake Tapper: Hey, Did You Know That Trump’s Health Is Bad Too?

Democrats have been telling us for years that Donald Trump is demented. 

At first, it was an attempt to distract from Joe Biden’s actual loss of mental acuity, but now that Biden is in the rear-view mirror and the cat is out of the bag about Biden’s dementia, they are using the failure of the Democrats and the Pravda Media to report on Biden as an excuse to double down on the claims that Trump is hiding something about his health. 

Sure, we “missed” the story about Biden’s “health problems,” but we have learned our lesson! We will learn from our mistake and watch Trump like a hawk. 

You’re about to get 3 1/2 years of the “MY GOD, TRUMP IS **SO OLD AND FEEBLE!!!”** narrative.

This is the hill they’re digging in on.

Relatively few are making the claim that Trump has dementia–they tried it for years and it didn’t work out for them–but their angle is similar. Trump is riddled with health problems that he is covering up, don’tcha know?

Obviously, it is not implausible that Trump does have health problems–he is, after all, he is nearly 79-years-old–it seems more than a little convenient that the people who engaged in a politically-motivated coverup to promote Joe Biden would now argue that they are just the ones to watch Trump like a hawk and report on his state of health. 

It’s as plausible as expecting the Gaza Health Ministry to tell us the truth about Palestinian casualties in Gaza. 

As with COVID reporting, we are at the point where we can trust nothing that we are told by the powers that be in our cultural and academic elite. It’s not that everything they say is a lie; it’s that we can never know whether they are telling lies or some version of the truth. 

The truth is what they say it is, and it can change moment by moment to conform to their political ends. They are the Ministry of Truth, or Minitrue, from 1984. 

Because we have the evidence of our eyes, we can see and believe that any health problems don’t hamper Donald Trump in performing his duties. Trump seems to be active 18 or 19 hours of the day, and spends an inordinate amount of time talking to the media. He is, in other words, the exact opposite of Joe Biden in everything that counts. 

None of that matters. We will be treated to endless discussions about his health and his ability to do the job, and the excuse the media will use is that they are making up for their “laxity” in doing their jobs during Biden. 

Yeah, right. 

This isn’t a pendulum swing. They are doing exactly what they did during Biden’s term: lying for political reasons. There is no “humility,” as Tapper claims, and no correction in how the media covers presidential health. 

Could Trump have heart disease? Maybe. Diabetes? Could be. 

But if some “leak” were reported by the media, would you believe them? 

Not a chance in the world. We won’t get fooled again.
