JD Vance Drops Truth Bombs on Canada

Yesterday, I wrote about the fact that Canada is being overrun by migrants. Almost half of all births are now to foreign-born mothers (42% currently, and rising), and one-third of the overall population is foreign-born.

One of the many terrible consequences of the liberal policies that have resulted in this replacement of the native population is stagnating economic growth. 

Migration, of course, is not the only cause of this stagnation. Energy policies, housing policies, and all sorts of government meddling in the economy are at fault as well, but it is undeniable that replacing a high-trust first-world citizenry with people from a low-trust, low-education, and low-productivity region is bound to make your society and economy lose vitality and eventually collapse. 

Ask Rome about that, if you like.

Canadians have been dumping on the United States even more than usual, and to be fair, Trump has trolled them pretty mercilessly because he hated Justin “Fidelito” Trudeau. Trump is like that, although again, to be fair, Canadians have dumped on us for a very long time.

Vance’s brand of aggressive diplomacy is not Trump’s, who leans more into insults than truth bombs, but it is just as aggressive. Americans are tired of being insulted by countries that are in the midst of committing civilizational suicide, and resentful that we are reluctant to follow suit, and Vance expresses this sentiment by being blunt and telling hard truths. 

He’s willing to tell Keir Starmer that Britain is becoming a totalitarian censorship state, because Britain IS becoming a totalitarian censorship state. And here he is telling Canada that their “be kind and repeat ‘diversity is our strength'” policy is a total f-ing disaster. 

Our transnationalist elites firmly believe that mouthing magic incantations and sacrificing money to the climate gods will bring about a better world, when in fact, you get social discord and declining standards of living. Germany’s Net Zero policies have destroyed their industries, as Beege has written about many times, and mass migration is transforming modern liberal societies into ones with pockets of the third world today, and even larger pockets tomorrow. 

All paid for on the taxpayers’ dime. 

There was a time when all this could be dismissed as benign wishful thinking, and one could assume that rational people would realize their mistakes and course correct. 

Nope. It was never in the cards. Instead, these idiots are demanding that we jump into the sewer along with them, and insult us as bigots and Nazis for telling them they are nuts. 

Canada was, and to a great extent remains, a fine country with fine people. But they are in the process of committing suicide, both figuratively and literally. American liberals look to their example and demand we follow it. 

Vance is not only right to say “No!,” but to tell the truth about these failing societies.
