Vice President JD Vance delivered a direct message to young men during his appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), urging them to reject societal pressures that seek to make them feel guilty for embracing masculinity.
“My message to young men is don’t allow this broken culture to send you a message that you’re a bad person because you’re a man, because you like to tell a joke, because you like to have a beer with your friends, or because you’re competitive,” Vance told the crowd, drawing applause and cheers.
He went on to criticize what he described as a cultural push toward erasing distinctions between men and women.
Dennis Quaid’s #1 Warning for Americans
“The cultural message wants to turn everybody into — whether male or female — into androgynous idiots who think the same, talk the same, and act the same,” Vance said.
He contrasted that message with the stance taken by the Trump administration, emphasizing that their policies affirm the importance of recognizing biological differences.
“We actually think God made male and female for a purpose. And we want you guys to thrive as young men, and as young women, and we’re going to help with our public policy to make it possible to do that,” he added.

The Trump administration has taken steps to reinforce this position, including an executive order signed by President Donald Trump on January 20, titled “Defending Women From Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government.”
The order establishes that the official policy of the United States is to recognize only two sexes: male and female.
“These sexes are not changeable and are grounded in fundamental and incontrovertible reality,” the order states.
“Under my direction, the Executive Branch will enforce all sex-protective laws to promote this reality…”
The order also addresses concerns that left-wing policies have undermined women’s rights and safety by rejecting biological reality.
“The leftist efforts to eradicate the biological reality of sex fundamentally attack women by depriving them of their dignity, safety, and well-being,” the order reads.
Vance’s remarks at CPAC reflect a broader effort by the Trump administration to push back against gender ideology and restore policies based on biological definitions.
As the administration moves forward, its approach to issues of gender and culture will likely remain a central part of its platform.
