Actress Jennifer Aniston is relocating to her newly renovated Montecito property following a security breach at her Bel-Air residence earlier this month.
The move comes after an alleged stalker drove through the gates of her $21 million Bel-Air home while she was reportedly inside.
The incident occurred on May 5 when a man identified as 48-year-old Jimmy Wayne Carwyle of Mississippi allegedly rammed his vehicle into Aniston’s gate.

The breach has prompted Aniston, 56, to expedite her move to the $15 million Montecito estate she purchased in 2022 from Oprah Winfrey through an off-market deal.

Aniston’s new property, built in 1999, spans approximately 4,320 square feet and includes four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a guesthouse, pool house, and cabana.
The residence underwent renovations prior to the move-in, including updated balconies with dark metal railings, the replacement of blue-framed windows with white ones, and the addition of a new swimming pool.
The property also includes expansive grassy lawns and wooded surroundings that provide enhanced privacy, along with parking accommodations for up to 15 vehicles.
Close friends of Aniston, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Rob Lowe, and Jimmy Kimmel, are reportedly supporting her transition to the new home.
Jimmy Wayne Carwyle is currently being held at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles.
He has been formally charged with felony stalking, felony vandalism, and an aggravating circumstance for allegedly posing a threat of great bodily harm.
Prosecutors allege that Carwyle engaged in ongoing harassment of Aniston from March 2023 until his arrest earlier this month, reportedly sending her unsolicited messages through multiple online platforms.
A stay-away order has been issued, requiring Carwyle to remain at least 100 yards from Aniston.
His next court appearance is scheduled for May 22 at the Hollywood Mental Health Division of the Los Angeles Superior Court.
If convicted, Carwyle could face up to three years in state prison.
The case is being prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Sam Hulefeld of the District Attorney’s Stalking and Threat Assessment Team.
During a recent court hearing, Judge Keith Schwartz raised questions about Carwyle’s mental competency and suggested a possible mental health evaluation.

Carwyle’s estranged wife, Julia Carwyle, provided additional insight into his behavior in comments made to the Daily Mail.
She said she had obtained a restraining order against him following their separation and was unaware of his alleged fixation on Aniston.
“He had a secret life I knew nothing about,” she said, noting that they never discussed the actress and rarely watched television together.
Julia Carwyle attributed his behavior to mental health struggles and a history of substance abuse.
She described his emotional state following their separation as unstable and said he had begun making disturbing online posts in which he referred to Aniston as his “bride” and claimed to have a spiritual connection with her.
According to Julia, Carwyle believed he was in communication with the actress through Facebook.
“He actually thought he was going to meet Jennifer,” she said.
“He has been misled. Someone messed with his head.”
Her move to the Montecito property is understood to be part of a broader effort to restore a sense of safety and stability following the break-in.
