Celebrity fitness trainer Jillian Michaels didn’t hold back when slamming Democrats for their attacks on Rep. Seth Moulton, D-Mass., following his comments about transgender athletes, as reported by Fox News.

Appearing on Fox & Friends Tuesday, Michaels warned Democrats that their refusal to address voter concerns could cost them future elections.

“This is why your entire party got their butts kicked in the election,” Michaels said bluntly. Turning to Moulton, she added, “Buddy, take a stand and dig in because this is your moment. Wake up your team because you’re going to lose—not just this one but all the others—if you don’t turn this around. People are sick of it. It’s ridiculous.”

Michaels didn’t stop there. She accused the Democratic Party of doubling down on out-of-touch stances and attacking anyone who questions them.

She specifically pointed to former President Barack Obama, who scolded Black men for what he labeled sexism and misogyny after they expressed reluctance to support Vice President Kamala Harris.

“Maybe they just didn’t want their daughter playing against biological males. Maybe that was their concern,” Michaels argued. “I cannot wrap my head around the party the Democrats have become. The more you try to point out these issues, the more they double down. It’s almost radicalizing me to come at them just as hard.”

She urged Moulton to stay firm: “Mr. Moulton, dig in here. Don’t back down. Keep doing what you’re doing for the sake of your family and your party.”

Moulton has faced fierce backlash from his own party after his remarks to The New York Times.

As a father of two young daughters, he voiced concerns about the impact of transgender athletes competing in women’s sports, stating, “I have two little girls. I don’t want them getting run over on a playing field by a male or formerly male athlete, but as a Democrat, I’m supposed to be afraid to say that.”

In the Times interview, Moulton criticized Democrats for prioritizing political correctness over honesty. “Democrats spend way too much time trying not to offend anyone rather than being brutally honest about the challenges many Americans face,” he said.

Despite calls for his resignation and accusations of betrayal, Moulton hasn’t backed down. Appearing on Fox & Friends earlier Tuesday, he defended his position and called for open debate on the topic.

“This isn’t about trans kids either. That’s another criticism I hear,” Moulton said.

“My kids are young. They play on coed soccer teams just like I did when I was their age, too. But, when they get older, when we’re talking about competitive sports when people are a lot bigger, it’s reasonable to have restrictions… for some reason, because of some orthodox litmus test in our party, we’re not even supposed to entertain the idea, and I’m just saying, let’s have a debate.”
