A Haitian migrant who entered the United States under Joe Biden’s CHNV parole program has been charged with the alleged murder of three people in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

The suspect, 26-year-old Mackendy Darbouze, was taken into custody following the incident on February 21.

According to the Fayetteville Police Department, Darbouze faces three counts of first-degree murder for the deaths of 77-year-old Beatrice Desir, a 13-year-old child, and a 4-year-old child.

Authorities responded to a report of a stabbing at a residence around 9 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found all three victims had been fatally stabbed inside the home.

A local ABC affiliate in Raleigh reported that Darbouze greeted officers at the door with blood on his hands, face, and pants.

Police stated that three other children were present in the home at the time of the attack but were not harmed.

Darbouze was arrested at the scene and is being held without bond. Authorities have not released further details regarding a possible motive.

Darbouze entered the U.S. through Biden’s CHNV program, which allowed migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela to enter the country under a temporary parole system.
