Joe Rogan and Charlie Sheen React Live to Assassination of Charlie Kirk [WATCH]

Podcast host Joe Rogan praised Charlie Kirk following the conservative leader’s assassination, warning against celebrating or encouraging political violence in the United States.

Rogan made his remarks during an episode of his show with actor Charlie Sheen as a guest, addressing the death of the Turning Point USA founder and the reaction that followed.

“There’s going to be a lot of people celebrating this,” Rogan said.

“It’s so scary. It’s so dangerous too, to celebrate or to in any way encourage this kind of behavior from human beings. … He’s not a violent guy. He was talking to people on college campuses.”

Rogan described Kirk as a figure who worked to preserve space for open debate.

He stressed that Kirk’s approach was measured, not confrontational. “He wasn’t even particularly rude. He tried to be pretty reasonable with people,” Rogan said.

Sheen, appearing on the podcast, agreed with Rogan’s assessment. “Everything I saw seemed reasonable,” Sheen replied.

Kirk was shot on Wednesday during an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.

The gathering was part of his nationwide campus tour that featured debates and discussions with students and opponents.

Witnesses reported that Kirk was struck in the neck by a sniper’s bullet while speaking on stage, and he later died after being rushed to a nearby hospital.

Authorities said the shooter fled the scene, jumping from the roof of a campus building before escaping into a nearby neighborhood.

Law enforcement recovered a high-powered bolt-action rifle at the scene and later released video showing the suspect leaving the area. The individual remains at large, and a nationwide manhunt is underway.

Kirk’s death has been met with widespread mourning across political and cultural circles, while also drawing condemnation over the apparent targeting of a prominent political figure.

The FBI has said it is pursuing thousands of leads in connection with the case.

Rogan, who described himself as liberal-leaning, expressed shock at the killing.

He suggested that Kirk had been targeted for his views rather than his actions. “He was a very intelligent guy,” Rogan said.

“Whether you agree with him or don’t, and there’s a lot of stuff that I didn’t agree with him on. That’s fine. You’re allowed to disagree with people without celebrating the fact they got shot.”

The podcaster argued that disagreements in America should be resolved through discussion and debate, not violence.

“Well, what you’re supposed to do with a guy like that, if you’re opposing him is debate him, right?” Rogan said.

“Have a conversation where your argument is more compelling than his. That’s what people should be celebrating — discourse. You know, we used to do that.”

Rogan’s comments come as officials continue to appeal to the public for assistance in identifying the suspect.

Authorities have offered a $100,000 reward for information leading to an arrest, noting that the volume of tips received has already surpassed 7,000.

Kirk’s assassination has intensified calls for accountability and heightened concerns over political violence in the country.

His influence as the co-founder of Turning Point USA and his frequent appearances on college campuses made him one of the most visible conservative figures of his generation.
