Joe Rogan clapped back at allegations from the Kamala Harris campaign, outlined in a forthcoming book, that Rogan lied to them in a Tuesday episode of his podcast.

An excerpt from NBC reporter Jonathan Allen and The Hill reporter Amie Parnes’ book “Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House” claimed, among other things, that one of Rogan’s representatives had told the Harris campaign that he couldn’t interview her on Oct. 25, the day he interviewed Trump, because it was a “personal day.”

“On October 22, the same day the Harris camp announced the rally, the Associated Press reported that Trump would be Rogan’s guest on Friday — the ‘personal day’ Rogan had originally reserved,” the book excerpt read.

This, Rogan said Tuesday, was one of the many things the authors said that wasn’t true. (RELATED: ‘Bullsh*t Game’: Joe Rogan Rips Into People Pretending ‘Everyone’s Hitler’)

“One of the things they said that weren’t true was that we lied about the day that Trump was coming on. No, we just didn’t tell you that Trump was coming on. He was already booked a long time ago,” Rogan said.

He added that Trump was “really easy to book,” noting that Trump accepted the first date Rogan proposed and didn’t ask to hold any topics off limits.

The Harris campaign, meanwhile, told Rogan she would like to talk about social media censorship and weed, as well as other unnamed issues, according to the book excerpt.

That, however, was meant as a ” suggestion of possible topics, not an exhaustive or exclusive list,” the excerpt read.

Another lie, Rogan claimed, was that Harris’s campaign sent an advance team to his studio prior to an interview.

“They also said that they sent someone down here to the studio to do a walkthrough of the set. That’s not true. The Trump administration did.”

The book excerpt claimed that the Harris campaign, after scheduling a Texas rally under the pretext of campaigning in a state with restrictive abortion laws, sent a team to Austin to scout the location before a potential interview.

“She dispatched an advance team to the Texas state capital to do a walk-through of Rogan’s studio and get ready for a Harris arrival,” the excerpt read.

The issue with that, Rogan claims, is that Harris’s team never scheduled an interview.

Both sides agree on one thing — Harris tried to have Rogan come to D.C. to interview her, a proposition Rogan refused, according to both accounts.

“I said that, look, he did it here, we should probably do it here,” Rogan said, claiming that he wanted to release interviews with both presidential candidates on the same day.

“I even offered to do it late that night. So the night that Trump came on, I’m like ‘what if we do her, like when she’s done in Texas, if she came here?’ But no one ever committed to doing it. This is really important because they keep pretending that I lied,” he continued.

Rogan said he has “receipts” and “a whole list of conversations that took place.”

“So this whole idea that we fucked her over, and that we fucked her over for Trump — incorrect. Just not true,” he said. “But I think it’s someone trying to cover their ass for the fact that she never did, and if she did do it, it might have had a positive effect.”

The Daily Caller reached out to a member of Rogan’s team to confirm the receipts but did not hear back by publication. The Caller also reached out to the book’s authors and members of the Harris campaign mentioned in the excerpt for comment but did not hear back by publication.

The book is scheduled to be published April 1.
