Former journalist Hanna Trudo — who appears to be gearing up for a Democratic congressional campaign — has allegedly been living a lavish lifestyle, according to the “Ruthless” podcast.
Trudo is exploring a run for Congress as a Democrat in her home state of New Hampshire, according to Politico. She was The Hill’s senior political correspondent, and she previously worked for Politico and The Daily Beast.
Since moving back to the Granite State, Trudo has branded herself as a progressive warrior for the working class.
“Only a TINY percentage of Congress personally understands the working class experience,” she tweeted Tuesday.
Only a TINY percentage of Congress personally understands the working class experience. That’s why we scratch our heads and wonder why we lose them to Republicans every cycle

However, after allegedly snubbing the conservative “Ruthless” podcast’s invitation for an interview, the hosts dug up information on Trudo — and she may be wealthier than she lets on.
In a YouTube exposé, Ruthless uncovered a dating profile that allegedly belonged to Trudo. The profile was from the dating website “Luxy,” which brands itself for “high-value singles.”
“60% of our members have a verified annual income of more than €200,000. 41% verified income greater than €1 million,” the website claims. (RELATED:’Scorched-Earth Campaign’: Former Top Journo At DC’s Favorite Media Outlet Blasts Old Employer)
Trudo was also allegedly selling a high-end Ferrari at one point, according to a now-deleted Instagram post obtained by “Ruthless.”
Trudo addressed the accusations on X in a post Friday.
“Sorry gentlemen, I like fashion AND Medicare for All! $15 minimum wage,” she wrote.
“You can try and shame me into not running for NH1 because you hate progressives, but not for being a fabulous woman.”

The Daily Caller reached out to Trudo about the “Ruthless” report but has not heard back at the time of publication.
Trudo has yet to officially announce her candidacy.
Marine veteran and former Obama administration official, Maura Sullivan, launched her congressional bid in the Democratic primary in April.
She is running to replace Democratic New Hampshire Rep. Chris Pappas, who announced in April that he is running for Senate in New Hampshire’s 2026 race.
