Justice Will Be Done Without Exceptions [WATCH]

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) joined Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures to discuss accountability within government and the ongoing investigations into past actions, including lawfare targeting President Donald Trump, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

Bartiromo asked Donalds whether the recent developments amounted to true accountability. “This is accountability. Number one, people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones,” Donalds responded.

He emphasized that accountability must apply equally.

“The law will be upheld. Justice will be done. There is not going to be a picking and choosing, the way it was done under Nancy Pelosi, under Joe Biden, and the Democrat party where they were just using the Justice Department and the intelligence community to go after their chief political rival,” Donalds said.

When asked about the five-year statute of limitations in relation to the Russia collusion conspiracy, Donalds deferred to Attorney General Pam Bondi. “The statute of limitations I’m gonna leave that to Attorney General Bondi and her team,” he said.

Donalds noted that the issue extended far beyond conspiracy. “You have much more than conspiracy Maria, you have a weaponization of the FISA court system, even as far back as President Trump’s 2016 campaign,” he explained.

Bartiromo pointed out that while Democrats pursued the Russia collusion narrative, President Trump was forced onto the defensive, taking focus away from significant foreign policy issues, including the threat from communist China.

“While your colleagues on the left were trying to take down their political enemy, and attack President Trump with all of these made-up stories, they were ignoring things like communist China,” she said.

“How did they build up all of those supply chains? Well, our lawmakers were focusing on politics.”

Donalds agreed, saying the focus on undermining Trump had global consequences.

“This is one of the most destructive things from this era of Democrat leadership. They were more concerned about power here in the United States than making sure that the United States remained the number one economic and military power on the globe,” he stated.

He also detailed how China made significant gains during this period.

“The Chinese made great gains under Democrat leadership, buying farmland in the United States, buying land next to key military installations in the United States. This is what was happening under the Democrat party,” Donalds said.

Donalds concluded that the law will ultimately be enforced, and accountability will reach those who misused power. “The law will be upheld. Justice will be done,” he reiterated.
