White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt issued a strong statement on Thursday, accusing liberal district court judges of abusing their power to obstruct President Donald Trump’s executive actions.
According to Leavitt, these judges have issued multiple injunctions against the administration’s policies in recent weeks, often without providing legal justification.
Leavitt described the judicial actions as part of a broader effort by Democrat activists to undermine Trump’s presidency, arguing that the rulings threaten the rule of law and the will of the American people.

“The real constitutional crisis is taking place within our judicial branch, where district court judges in Liberal districts across the country are abusing their power to unilaterally block President Trump’s basic executive authority,” Leavitt stated.
She further claimed that these judges are operating as “judicial activists rather than honest arbiters of the law” and have aggressively targeted Trump’s administration through injunctions.
“They have issued at least 12 injunctions against this administration in the past 14 days, often without citing any evidence or grounds for their lawsuits,” Leavitt said.
Leavitt framed the legal challenges as part of a larger Democrat-led effort to obstruct Trump’s policies through the courts.
“This is part of a larger concerted effort by Democrat activists and nothing more than the continuation of the weaponization of justice against President Trump,” she stated.
She also pointed to the overwhelming support Trump received in the 2024 election, suggesting that these judicial rulings undermine the democratic process.
“Quick news flash to these liberal judges who are supporting their obstructionist efforts: 77 million Americans voted to elect this president, and each injunction is an abuse of the rule of law and an attempt to thwart the will of the people,” Leavitt added.
Despite the legal roadblocks, Leavitt assured that the administration will comply with judicial rulings while actively working to overturn them.
“As the President clearly stated in the Oval Office yesterday, we will comply with the law in the courts, but we will also continue to seek every legal remedy to ultimately overturn these radical injunctions and ensure President Trump’s policies can be enacted,” Leavitt said.
It’s a media hoax that President Trump is causing a “constitutional crisis.”

The recent wave of legal challenges comes as Trump moves swiftly to implement his agenda, signing executive orders and directives aimed at securing the border, cutting government waste, and rolling back Biden-era policies.
However, several district court judges have issued temporary injunctions halting key measures, prompting a legal battle between the administration and the judiciary.
As Trump’s legal team prepares to challenge these rulings, the White House remains firm in its stance that the judicial system is being weaponized for political purposes.
With the administration vowing to fight back, the coming weeks will likely see intensified legal battles over the president’s authority and the scope of judicial intervention.
