The FBI has wasted no time in bringing fugitives to justice since President Donald Trump took office for his second term.
According to FBI Director Kash Patel, the agency has already captured three fugitives from its Ten Most Wanted list since January 20, 2025.
Our brave agents and @TheJusticeDept have arrested THREE of the FBI’s “Ten Most Wanted” since January 20, 2025. That’s no accident.

Former FBI agent and Fox News contributor Nicole Parker praised the agency’s effectiveness, recalling Trump’s focus on violent crime during his first term.
“This is the FBI that I was proud to work for, and I’m really excited to see that they have already arrested several of the FBI’s Most Wanted fugitives,” Parker told Fox News Digital.
“When President Trump took over in 2017 in his first administration, I was a violent crime agent in Miami, and I specifically remember that he said that his top priority was to focus on violent criminals.”
The three high-profile arrests since January highlight the agency’s renewed commitment to tackling violent crime:
Francisco Javier Roman-Bardales – Captured on March 18, 2025 in Mexico. Roman-Bardales, 47, is an alleged key senior leader of MS-13.
He faces charges including racketeering conspiracy, narco-terrorism, and alien smuggling conspiracy. He was extradited to the U.S. following his arrest.
“FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitive Roman-Bardales has been extradited to the United States to be held accountable for the extreme and depraved violence and terror his leadership of MS-13 allegedly brought to the streets of the United States and across North America,” said FBI Acting Assistant Director in Charge for the New York Field Office Leslie Backschies.
Arnoldo Jimenez – Captured on January 30, 2025 in Mexico. Jimenez was wanted for the 2012 murder of his wife, who was found dead in the bathtub of their Burbank, Illinois, apartment less than 48 hours after their wedding.
“The FBI is extremely appreciative of the Burbank Police Department, our law enforcement partners in Mexico, and the public for their tremendous investigative efforts and collaboration in the capture of Ten Most Wanted Fugitive Arnoldo Jimenez,” said Douglas S. DePodesta, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Chicago Field Office.
Donald Eugene Fields II – Captured on January 25, 2025, in Florida during a routine traffic stop by Lady Lake Police Sgt. Michelle Bilbrey.
Fields, 60, is charged with child sex trafficking and child rape in both federal and state court. He is accused of attempting to recruit and solicit a minor into engaging in a commercial sex act between 2013 and 2017.
“Thanks to proactive policing by the Lady Lake Police Department, one of the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted fugitives has been captured,” said FBI St. Louis Special Agent in Charge Ashley Johnson.
FBI’s Crackdown on Violent Crime
In addition to the top fugitives, FBI officials reported another high-profile arrest earlier this month.
Justin Smith, who was on the FBI’s general Most Wanted list, was identified and detained in Atlanta.
Smith is accused of shooting his pregnant girlfriend in the head multiple times in Philadelphia in 2021, killing both her and the unborn child.
Parker emphasized that these arrests demonstrate the agency’s renewed focus under the Trump administration.
“This is what we need. We need to hold these individuals accountable,” she said.
“To take several of them off of the streets within two months is absolutely phenomenal. I am so excited to see what is in store for the FBI over the next three and a half years. Again, we’re only two months into it, and for this to have already occurred, it shows me that Kash Patel is serious when he says, ‘Let good cops be good cops.’ Let’s let them just do their jobs.”
With three of the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted fugitives already captured, the agency’s efforts under Patel and Bondi appear to be yielding results, reinforcing the administration’s focus on law and order.
